If I could give this store a negative score I would. I stopped in today to purchase a school bag. Not the one my son wanted, ok, we go to the store to exchange the bag. Mine you there are at least 5 people with big purchases. I guy in the register. She watches, does not offer any assistance and myself and other customers watch her wander aimless. She decides to open a register, my son and I are next. We explain I would like to exchange the school bags and that I have a business account (whenever she was ready for the #) completely ignored, told to insert my card. I asked her why she ignored me, she could have very well said “not for this transaction” she said she didn’t. I told her there was no reason to be rude . She immediately started being rude, saying that there must be a full moon. Me know when this are I told her, no Friday. Thinking that she has scanned everything, but pick the bag up, and go to leave. She immediately starts yelling at me, saying she’s calling the cops for me stealing, WHAT!?!? No, ma’am. I tapped my card, entered my pin, she has such little customer service skills that she did not have any decency to explain her process. I will never do business here again. Melissa “the print manager” is the rudest most unprofessional employee you all...
Read moreHORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service--especially the printing department. Went in Thur night, three people behind the counter, 4 customers waiting. employees never acknowledged any of the customers, never said a word ("sorry, be with you in a moment" or something. Anything!) DID NOT acknowledge there were customers there in any way, BUT would occasionally look up to see who was there, and with a rather dirty look as though we were inconveniencing them, no less! FINALLY after 25 minutes when I asked about lamination services, and showed an example of EXACTLY what I was asking for, I was told. "I don't know....maybe....$15 dollars? NO idea of the cost and couldn't even figure out what the cost actually was.
Tried to go in again Fri morning, assuming there'd be different employees (There were) and hopefully fewer customers (There weren't) Same thing. When I just asked one employee at the counter who was shuffling papers if I could just drop off and pick up later, he pawned me off to another employee who was already busy trying to make prints on a copier he didn't know how to use. I left...I didn't have time to wait for yet more incompetence.
Horrible, horrible company with clueless undertrained employees who don't even pretend to care about employees...

Today, I called Office Depot to check on a "same day" order (from yesterday) 50 business cards. However it quickly turned into another frustrating experience with Melissa, the store manager. Her tone over the phone was dismissive and unhelpful, and rather than solve the issue, she passed blame due to a breakdown in communication between their own systems. Asked if I understood what I needed to do and just cancel the order.
This isn’t my first run-in with Melissa. Years ago, I dealt with her in person and hoped she had been replaced by now. At that time, she stood by, clearly unwilling to assist an overwhelmed employee in the print center. Her attitude was very unprofessional and disengaged--borderline confrontational (maybe because we were over the phone).
I’m genuinely shocked that someone with such poor customer service skills is still in a management role. If this is how customers are treated, I can only imagine how the employees are treated. Office Depot needs to take a serious look at the leadership in this location.
This store lost my business today over a simple order of 50 business cards. That...
