Was only my second time attending a show here. I went to see “Asking Alexandria & From Ashes to New” both heavy rock bands. I went with 3 other female friends, all of us ranging from 22-36 years old. One gentleman had repeatedly “accidentally” bumped into us. (He was “built” and thought he could get anyone type of guy.) Finally about half way through the show we (thought we) lost him. Roughly 3 songs before the encore he had bumped into us again. This individual easily had over 100 lbs over any of us and wouldn’t leave us alone. I had to push him away from me and my friends as he was trying to grab us and pull us into him. He “had to tell me I was beautiful cause I needed to know.” I informed him I had already known as my boyfriend tells me daily. He finally started to walk away, milliseconds later security came over and spoke with us. They removed him from the venue and came back to check on us. Great staff who care about the people attending. (Also earlier in the evening I went out with my friend for her to smoke, one of the bar tenders held our drinks behind the bar, as alcohol is not allowed outside.) Will 100% be attending more shows there, thank you to all involved!

As a recent visitor to the Casino Ballroom, I am compelled to share my deeply troubling experience. Despite its historic charm and reputation as a premier entertainment venue, my visit was overshadowed by an alarming and unacceptable incident of sexual assault. What’s more distressing is the apparent indifference of the staff and management towards this heinous act. Security was nowhere to be found during the incident, and the staff's response was shockingly apathetic when I reported it. It is outrageous that a place claiming to offer a safe and enjoyable environment can fail so catastrophically in ensuring the basic safety of its patrons. Such negligence is inexcusable, and it suggests a disturbing disregard for the well-being and security of guests. Until the Casino Ballroom addresses these critical safety issues and takes substantial action to protect its patrons, I cannot in good conscience recommend this venue to anyone. It is imperative that they implement comprehensive measures to prevent such incidents in the future and support those affected. As it stands, the Casino Ballroom is not a safe place to visit.

My husband and I attended a Get The Led Out show at the Ballroom. Ample parking and right on the beach, public bathrooms right across the street and plenty of places to eat all around. The entrance security was thorough and very polite and got the long line into the venue quickly. A short jaunt up a flight of stairs, a quick ticket scan and wristband and just WOW! The stage is up high and the room is VAST! I assume the first people in the doors knew there were tables to sit at throughout the concert as they were chocked full when we entered about 20 minutes before the show. There appeared to be upstairs viewing rooms too. My guess is they needed reservations or were private boxes. There are 2 sets of bathrooms at either end and many mini bars around the perimeter and several beer kiosks in the center. The lines moved quickly and everyone wore a smile and were very polite. There is an area to smoke out the back door and down multiple flights of stairs. The sound and lighting was fantastic and the experience was awesome. Wear comfy shoes!

I need to preface my review by saying that 30 minutes before our arrival to the ballroom, I fell at a neighboring establishment and ended up with a badly sprained ankle. That being said, the staff at the ballroom were truly some of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. We had tickets to the Michael Franti concert and I had also purchased the VIP meet and greet for my husband's birthday. The staff saw I was having quite a bit of trouble walking and put me in the elevator to get me upstairs then proceeded to get me a wheelchair so I would be comfortable during the show. The meet and greet was around back and down a large flight of stairs. I decided to skip it and told my husband to get out there so he wouldn't miss it. The staff was not having it, Subby who was part of the security team put me back in the elevator and wheeled me out of the bldg, down the block, through the parking lot and parked me in the front row of the private pre-show. At the end of the night the operations manager, Erin told my husband to hold onto the wheelchair for the night so I wouldn't have to walk 2 blocks back to our room. I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful staff and how I was treated. We go to a lot of shows and although I was injured, this was the best concert experience I've ever had. I also have to give a shout out to all the ladies at the show that helped me with getting in out of the ladies room. Overall wonderful experience (busted ankle and all). Can't wait to come back! Thank you again to all the people that were there July 12th and helped out the girl in the wheelchair. I appreciate each and every...

I went to see Brothers Osborne on 6-2-19 it was the first time that I ever stepped into the Casino and most likely will be the last! The area that we were standing was around a group of obnoxious drunks who identified themselves as State Police officers and Probation officers! Several of them were so intoxicated that after she dropped her beer all over me she proceeded to dump her pocketbook on the floor causing her money to scatter all about. Well she was so unstable that she couldn't even pick up her money and there was a lot of money, like $100.00 bills all over the floor. Now granted this group was obnoxious and you really could have gently pushed any of them over without difficulty NO ONE took advantage of her Her money was gathered and returned to her. This is lengthy I know and I'm getting to the point I asked the female who identified herself as the Probation officer if she was sober, response was "yes " I then asked if she could ask her friends to chill a little that I smelled like a brewery because they keep dumping their beers on me! She stated that she "was a Probation officer and she was leaving!" Next thing I know is that I'm assaulted by one of her friends causing my lip to split. The casino was professional about it however Hampton PD sucked!!! Even though the person was identified by multiple people they would not press charges. This is wrong, they never took pictures or a written statement. I'm more than disgusted with the lack of professionalism! You take your chances if you go there if anything should happen I'm not a kid either, I was 60 yrs...

I was very dissapointed in this place. My boyfriend and I had tickets to see Danzig last night. Drove up from Cape Cod (3 hours each way) and paid for a hotel room in the neighborhood. When we got there, My boyfriend and his friend both were waived on through whereas me and the other wife got carded. I by no means look under 21, in fact I am 44 years old. No way to pretend I'm a spring chicken anymore. Whatever, that's fine but my license was not in my wallet for some reason and the bouncer proceeded to tell me I could not enter the show. I asked him why me and the other woman were getting carded and why the men were not and he said and I QUOTE "They're guys, of course they're 21". What? That makes no sense at all. Did he offer to let me in as long as I didn't drink? NO. I got angry at being sexually descriminated against and he kicked me and my boyfriend out. Seriously? And no one would help. By the time one of the bouncers was willing to help I had had enoughand left. How DARE they call me stupid because I am a woman! What's stupid is saying just because they are guys that they are automatically 21. I should have called the cops and had them go in and double check all the IDs this idiot failed to check. I guarantee he let in plenty of underage BOYS because he's a massogonistic jerk. So I am out the cost of my tickets, a hotel room and 6 hours of drive time for some ass to assert his white male priveledge over me. Never again will I go to this venue and I hope others will boycot them as well for...
