Harrison Branch Library — Attraction in Harrison Township

Our copier at the office broke today. With a deadline looming and no 'umph' left, I went to the Harrison branch of the Cincinnati Hamilton County Public Library where I met some WONDERFUL staff including Brian.

Not only did Brian help me make (a bunch of) copies to meet my deadline, he also kept track of the number of copies, brought them back to me in order and was SO, SO, SO pleasant and patient during the whole experience. And this was all at 7:00 p.m. in the evening - I'm sure that he was worn out from working all day but no one would ever know it!

I hope to pay it forward in short order.

I love the library. It is a space for me to wind down and get some work done year-round. There's access to public computers, restrooms, books, CDs, etc. They also have electricity in the tables, so you can charge electronics while working.

There's a couple of cons: -The menstrual product area in the women's bathroom hasn't been refilled in months -You do have access to a free printer, but you can only print 33 B&W pages/day and 24 colored papers/day -The chairs are white uncomfortable besides the one table in the "Teens Spot." I love coming here. My mom and I have made this our weekly trip to pick out a new book or DVD. We have discovered many new cook books, historical books of the area, and even some travel books so we can plan a trip in a couple years. The staff is extremely helpful and we greatly appreciate the computers and photocopy machine. My husband and my dad have even started coming in to see what they have to offer.
