6/30/2021 I downgraded my review due to a recent experience with large appliance purchase. The first part of that is explained below. My recent experience is why I have downgraded them. Our refrigerator was damaged when switching the door hinges for left side opening. (The freezer door bounces open when you close the refrigerator door.) We were supposed to get a call from LG by Monday. On Saturday a manager assured me I would get a call by Monday by 11 am. No call. I went back to the store yesterday and spoke with the associate who sold us the appliances. He pulled up the notes. The person handling it will not be in until tomorrow. I will update this review, if I hear from someone to update me. Communication is important in these situations, and there has been none on there part.

I do shop here often, especially for maintenance supplies and plants. I usually find what I want without a problem. I don't usually have to ask for help,, but when I do it is usually available. We did have an issue with installation of kitchen appliances.

We just bought a suite of LG appliances for our kitchen. Joe in appliances was helpful and patient as we determined what we wanted.

The delivery app was okay, and the delivery men called us when they were 30 minutes out.

The delivery men were strong, polite and careful when moving appliances in and out of the house. However they were not installers, which is why my review is lower.

First, we needed the refrigerator door reversed and were told the delivery men could do this. We found a part (washer) on our counter after they left, plus found that the refrigerator door doesn't open and close smoothly. I called to have someone come out and correct it. Someone should be here in a week. Since we have an extended warranty on this, we don't want to attempt this ourselves.

We also paid to have them install the over the stove microwave. My husband would have done it himself, but it is a 2 person job. I doubt it would have been done correctly, if he hadn't been supervising. First they weren't going to screw the mounting plate into the studs, which he had marked on the wall. Also they drilled the holes too large (even though my husband questioned them) going from inside the cabinet into the microwave. My husband was concerned the screws would pull through, so after they left he put a washer between the wood and the screw head. He had to stop them to reverse the fan to exhaust to the outside, since they told him most people have it exhaust into the room. Also if they do vent into the room, there should be a charcoal filter installed. We're not sure the microwave is level from front to back.

Not sure I would have Home Depot install...

Went to pick up a few items for the house, when I noticed the D.A.V. /Veteran parking was gone. I did my shopping and asked the customer service what happened to the D.A.V. / Veterans parking spots? She called and found out they corporate made the decision to get rid of it. I told them I was a veteran and in Harrison Ohio, there are disabled vets and veterans from WWII, Afghanistan, Gulf War, Persian Gulf, and much more. It was only 2 spots, not sure why they got rid of them. Also, there are 3 spots for people to just walk up and put their stuff in their cars, also in the front of the building says we love our Veterans. I kinda chuckled when I read that, especially since they took the parking away from them. I called corporate and wrote them a letter ✉️. Not sure it'll help, some of you may not care about this, but I do. If no one speaks up then nothing will change. We have to at least try. They do still give a veterans discount at least right now when this review was posted. UPDATE: Home Depot in Harrison, put up new DAV/VET signs and poles. And the sign by the door still says we support our veterans. The voice has been heard. We have our parking spots back. Thank you Home Depot for listening and...

Home Depot at Harrison Ohio has quality merchandise and an excellent selection. Their isles are spacious and large carts can easily move around. The tall shelving is clean and well organized. The floors are clean and has virtually no clutter. Each department values their area because the entire store is a pleasure to visit. They have an amazing supply of seeds for flowers and vegetables. They have cactus, annuals and perennial flowers, grasses and trees. You will find a large supply of riding tractors/mowers and large to small grills. The painting department has friendly staff, neat, organized and helpful. The kitchen department is top-notch with quality products, organized kitchens and again, friendly staff. Their supply of lumber, drywall and assorted wooden products are bountiful. Their tools are outstanding from power saws to drills, they stock quality items to purchase and they are easily displayed. Every opportunity I have to go to Home Depot in Harrison Ohio is always fun, rewarding and I always learn...
