GameStop — Attraction in Harrison

It's relatively small for a GameStop but it's sufficient.the staff is really pretty friendly and they usually are willing to help... Mike's biggest qualm with not only this GameStop all the GameStops is the price gouging and the lack of telecommunication both their online team support that you call for support and they're in store are not staffed either to answer the phone or just don't answer the phone. More than once I was just cut off at the end of the phone call after waiting to get an answer..

The other thing is the price gouging I brought an Xbox controller and that can't even be got anymore and would probably be a collector's in really good condition except for a drift they wanted to trade it for a $15 credit when after taxes these controllers cost almost $70 or maybe it's more than $70. I want to mention I bought the controller from them and they never offered me the protection plan I tried to find it I couldn't find it and my son wanted this specific controller. Unfortunately I bought it without it hoping that it would at least last up but it didn't even make it a year!! Quite disappointing for sure.. I like that they reassure you if you get the protection plan but apparently online they don't really make sure you get that offer... Hogwarts everyone else was buying Hogwarts not on backorder from them after I had pre-ordered!!! This place is an absolute ripoff and is currently under investigation with the Arkansas Attorney General's office. I purchased an xbox online and set up a return online. It gave me the option of returning in-store. I provided all of the information I was given, credit card, receipt, etc. The store manager said he couldn't locate the order because I didn't have an account. An email address was provided upon purchase and I've received numerous emails from them since. Everything was in order but the manager insisted he couldn't locate the purchase through thr system. Then he started offering to buy it back for a lesser amount, even offering to purchase it personally. That's a scam if I ever saw one. I bought the wrong xbox, set up a return before buying a new one and then when everything is order they claim they can't take it back and start trying to buy it back for less. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They act like a video game pawn shop. The corporation has been turned over to the authorities and I will get my money back but no business should be operating that way. Especially in a town like Harrison. Absolute fraud, trying to buy back an item I clearly had set for return and offering zero...

This store needs to train it's employees on elderly people scams. One day I was this store and an older lady was trying to buy steam cards or whatever those were. And the old lady looked confused so I butted in and asked the questions on what who when why how and immediately I knew she was being scamed and needed to stop the transaction and to call her "daughter" and make sure he daughters husband was really calling the old lady asking for the steam gift cards and the old lady walked away got on her phone and immediately it was a guy telling her not to listen to anyone and do what he says, so I told the girl behind the counter to NOT sell her anything she's being scamed and she agreed as she was apart of the entire conversation. The old.lday was so scared of the person on the phone she convinced the lady to sell them to her. And ends up.she was scammed out of her entire bank account for several days. And had your employees been trained pr trained better and watching it play out in front of them the old lady would have had a...
