An amazing, amazing vintage theater. I am so happy that they've concessions now! The only reason that I didn't give five stars is due to the theater seats. There was a fundraiser (or what have you) a few years back to buy and install new seats. Well unfortunately, the new seats are just as uncomfortable as the old ones. Also, there are no cup holders for drinks. So, bring a cushion to sit on and something to hold your drinks and/or snacks. Despite all of this, please please please come and support this theater. It's truly a beautiful, historic theater that plays movies not available in regular theaters. Heck, this theater even plays the type of independent movies that are released in NY/LA only. That's fricking awesome. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
PS - I went to see "The Brutalist" here today since it was filmed in "Vista Vision" (circa 1950s). Since this theater's been around since the 1970s (thankfully), it really was amazing to see this movie in a theater where "Vista Vision" could've actually been...
Read moreNice theater. Lots of comfortable seating. Balcony and lower level seating. Very large screen. I actually felt too close to the screen sitting in the 2nd row balcony, causing lots of head and eye shifts to watch the film. I also felt like the sound was a bit too loud. Could be personal preference or where I was seated but, it muffled some of the speaking for me. Tough time of year to get it right but it was warm in the theater almost too warm but tolerable. Over all I liked it and on Sunday night we had no difficulty parking. This theater is in the middle of the trinity college campus. They do offer a 2$ senior discount. Not sure of the age for that, best to ask. Safe location, fairly easy access. Was our first time here and GPS only delivers to the...

AND they screen 35mm and 70mm films from FILM PROJECTORS! As an added bonus one of the co-founders, the very knowledgeable and passionate James Hanley is often available for impromptu discussions...
