Artist Nails — Attraction in Hartland Township

If I could give zero stars, I would. The service I received was sloppy and completely unprofessional. It was an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish. Last time I left a review, it was conveniently removed — likely because I mentioned who actually worked on me. Well, let me clarify: it was the old woman there, and the result was nothing short of careless.

To make matters worse, the person at the front — whether it’s the manager, receptionist, or the owner (maybe all three?) — clearly has no idea how to speak to or deal with customers. The attitude was rude, dismissive, and flat-out untrained. If you’re running a business that deals with people, basic communication skills should be a requirement — not an afterthought.

I’ve been going to this nail salon since the day they opened here in Hartland. I have had my nails done as well as pedicures done by a few different nail techs there. I’m always happy with how they turn out each & every time. My daughter has went with me a couple times to get her nails & toes done as well & she was so excited (she’s 12) with how they turned out. The atmosphere is wonderful. Customers including the staff are always happy.Sometimes everyone is so comfortable to where they all engage in conversation together followed by laughter (usually always every time I’m in there). The salon is always kept clean & tidy. I have mentioned this before but the music is always tasteful for all ages, it’s just so welcoming all around. 10/10 would recommend for children & older, male/female to check this place out if you haven’t already. Artist Nails has been my place, THE place for nails since living in Michigan. I tried a couple others closer to my home, but none compare. I will keep driving 20 minutes to Artist Nails because they’re simply the best! They have always shown me and my daughter love and respect. They helped us feel normal and welcome in a new community, in a new state. They are the kindest most welcoming people who work there. When I had to stop going for a while and came back, every single one of them remembered who l was by name, by nickname, and said some version of "welcome back" or "it's good to see you again." I don't just go to artist nails because they're the best— which they ARE— I go to them because they're family now. I love them.
