Visited on August 1st during our vacation. Wanted a laid back, easy dinner with some music. Please note we dine out often, have no problem spending money for a good meal and service and we are avid music lovers. First you order at the bar and pay and tip before you recieve your food. We tipped 25% but recieved zero service. Someone came to throw our food down and never saw them again. We ordered the $32 "lobster rolls" which, pictured here, were maybe 4 inches at the widest part. Two tiny butter soaked stale bread things with maybe 1 claw total split between the two. Definitely not more than 1.5 oz total meat. The meat was over cooked and meh. For $32 it didn't even come with a decent side. It was just a handful of generic ruffle chips. At our table we also had tenders, a Buffalo wrap and tuna sandwich. The tenders (also in the wrap) were downright nasty- over cooked, hard and all breading. The only thing worth eating was the tuna. When my husband went to the bar to ask to speak to the floor manager (since we didn't have a server). They rudely replied that there was no manager and basically provided no assistance what so ever nor seemed to care. When the "music " started the speakers were positioned head level on the walls directly at the head of the tables. The sound was distorted and just not good and it blasted directly at individual tables. It was such a disappointing experience all around and a complete waste of $175. This place maybe ok to stop by for a beverage but otherwise don't waste your time or money.

Dismal. We were back in town for a wedding and stopped by to grab (what we thought would be a quick) breakfast after an early morning rehearsal. It was a rainy day and the place was absolutely dead. It took just under an hour for our group to get two breakfast sandwiches and a toasted bagel with cream cheese (that wasn't even spread). We checked a couple times as multiple groups that had showed up 20+ minutes after us had gotten their food and the staff was incredibly rude and just kept saying that the kitchen was backed up. Eventually we got two dried out sandwiches and they apologized and offered us "a donut or a coffee." Would have been great to just get our food that had clearly been sitting out on a counter for the better part of 45 minutes.

4 stars for the coffee, $1 oysters (often 3-5pm), good beer and drink selection, decent waitstaff, and outdoor seating. 2 stars for the slow kitchen with sub par food. The $26 lobster roll was the worst I’ve ever had. Tasted like it was straight from a can or, at best, frozen. Steamed shrimp took 45m while all the other tables arriving after us ate and left by the time we were served. If the kitchen can’t handle certain dishes on certain days, please remove them from the menu. The Cape has a major labor shortage and customers will understand if you reduce your menu to focus on items that can be cooked and served well.

My wife and I have been cooking to this spot since 2010, when the hidden gem was a quiet walk down an alleyway off of Main Street Harwich Port. What started as a charming local spot with quality coffee and tasty treats has grown into a full-fledged destination, helping to shape Harwich Port into one of the most desirable places on the Cape.

The evolution of Perks has been nothing short of amazing. From expertly crafted coffee and espresso to a breakfast menu with a fun twist, every visit guarantees something fresh and delicious. Their extensive drink menu—frozen lemonade, fruit smoothies, and coffee frappes—offers something for everyone, whether you're kickstarting your morning or cooling off on a warm Cape Cod afternoon.

But it doesn’t stop there. Perks is a Beer Garden featuring ice-cold tap beers from coast to coast, along with a full selection of spirits and mixed drinks. Pair that with any of their delicious menu items and you've got the perfect spot for a summer night out. And with live music and a cozy fire pit, the vibe is always just right.

Simply put, you haven’t been to Harwich if you haven’t visited Perks. The drinks are cold, the food is incredible, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Highly recommend this gem of a spot for locals and...

Super friendly service. Lindsey was kind and brought over my mom's espresso martini but before dropping it she asked if she would like her to re-shake it with bailey's (and she did prefer that)! We had the shrimp, and the wings; good shrimp, great wings. The only negative was the excessive use of old bay. It was fine on the shrimp, but kind of overwhelmed the scallops on the scallop roll. The roll is a bit large for the scallop roll and it would be better on a softer, smaller brioche roll. The burgers were fantastic, and the kids liked the hot dogs. We will be back!

We also had breakfast there two mornings in a row. The service is friendly and quality is consistent.

For the beer garden, you seat yourself and need to place your order at the bar. They give you a number for the table and they bring over the food. The food runners are very efficient, kind and throughtful. It was refreshing to be asked if we needed anything else before they left the table! For breakfast, you order inside and they give you the coffees inside, baked goods inside, and hot sandwiches at the window. Super kid friendly with stroller parking, but don't go for a prime time dinner time with kids; go for lunch, late lunch or...
