Hattiesburg Saenger Theater — Attraction in Hattiesburg

I am so disappointed in the management at Hburg Saenger. Last night we attended Cinderella. The production was awesome but the ac was broken and we were miserable. Someone sitting near me went to speak with staff to have them lower the thermostat on the AC. Staff told him the ac was broken and had been for quite some time.

I paid over $275 for two tickets...you would think they would have the common courtesy to notify patron when they are aware the ac is broken.

I want a refund of my ticket and think refunds should be given to anyone else that attended. When we were leaving I overheard some the patron had driven 2.5 hours to attend...they were also upset over the ac.

It is a very nice place to do something a little different in Hattiesburg. The theater is kept very clean and is lovely on the inside. there's also ample seating for most shows. The only two negative things that I can think to say about the place is that parking can be a little confusing since the parking lot is across the street behind the bank. The other negative thing is that the concession line can be very long and slow as there are normally only about three to four people working the concessions. The Rocky Horror show was a blast! Crowd and Cast were phenomenal. I just felt genuinely disappointed to see AI during the show. I'm a digital creator so it does irk me a lot.

It's something that is literally killing artists jobs and stealing work from us.

Since this is a home grown theater meant to support human creativity I know ya'll are better than this. Please don't utilize AI for future events!
