The food wasnt Terrible. Portions were okay and it tasted okay I guess. The prices were outrageous though. the waitress was inattentive. I saw her a total of three times. Once to get our drink order when we first got there. Then when she brought our drinks and food but we didn't see her again until she brought us our check. We had 16 family members meet up here for my teenage nephews birthday. We weren't being loud or messy and we weren't running the waitresses to death or being a major headache to the staff. That being said, my nephews parents bought a cake and brought it in to cut and hand out to everyone after we were done eating but when we all got done with our food, the staff came up to us and said that they would charge them another 30 dollars if we were going to cut his cake inside their establishment. Which we thought was outrageous because we weren't asking them for anything extra to do so. We brought our own little paper plates and plastic forks for the cake and even had our own trash bag to put our plates and such in for disposal when we were done eating. So no one that worked in the restaurant was going to have to put any extra work into us cutting this cake. You would think that would be acceptable since we literally just paid them well over a thousand dollars in total to eat in their establishment. (I know it was well over a thousand because when my husband and I got our bill, it was over 70 dollars for just the two oofus. That was for only ONE calzone and ONE stromboli, two sweet teas and no drink refills. Over 70 bucks for just 2 out of the 16 people that came.) So when the waitress said they would be charging an extra 30 dollars just to cut the cake inside their establishment we all got up and paid our bills and left which hurt the birthday boys heart a little bit. I thought it was extremely greedy and insensitive to try to charge them that much to cut a cake that they didn't provide or any kind of extra work to clean up or extra dishes to wash. They weren't even going to have to dispose of our trash because we had that covered too. Anyways I just thought that was extremely greedy and petty of them considering the circumstances and all of the money our family spent. I know I won't be coming back. I'm sure no one else that was with us...
Read moreFood was amazing… but service needs To improve. We went inside.. we didnt get greeted. We walked to the back, sat down and we didnt get a menu at all. I asked for the menu, asked about the beers and she didnt even know what kind of beers she sells ( bartender ). We ordered pizza and told her to remove the mushrooms and black olives on it. Well she didnt. We still ate the pizza because at this point we were starving. While waiting for our food we heard everyone around us complaining about the service. A couple of ladies at the bar requested to speak to the manager at which point the bartender said shell bring the kitchen manager. The kitchen “ manager “ came out and apologized to the two ladies, and right after she ignored them and asked someone else “ what would you like to drink?”…. The kitchen manager did not help at all. The two ladies finally got a hold of the real manager i believe… she was actually good about it and talked to these two ladies, and apologized. Something that the Kitchen “ manager “ should had done instead of ignoring these two ladies. If you want good pizza please come here, but be aware you will not get good service. The waitress/bartender shoulf had greeted us and she is greeting us she should had handed us menus. Also, if you are the bartender know your beer and alcohol type. . . After all you are...
Read moreSo, here goes! This is a brick oven pizzeria, yet neither of the brick ovens were used. Our pizza crust did not appear to be baked in a brick oven. Not saying it wasn't, but it wasn't cooked in either of the two ovens that we could see. The crust was flavorless. Not impressed! A brick oven pizza is an experience! And we smdid not get that experience. The three-cheese calzone was so good. The crust seemed to be something like a pretzel crust. The cheeses were fresh and gooey and flavorful. The Italian margarita was the l best part! They use Italian liqueur! Boxes were stacked up all across the brick oven bar. Very unattractive. The bread heating compartment was sauce heating compartment were both in the dining area and visible to the customers. Also, unattractive. The drink dispenser was at the hostess stand, which seemed oddly out of place. Although there was a cool bar in the back of the restaurant, they did not have lime slices. Am I the only person surprised that a bar does NOT have lime slices? Service was acceptable. Server was very pleasant, but we had to remind her to bring us some things. Not a big deal. Not a fan of the pizza. Big fan of the calzone. Huge fan of the...
