Just an fyi, there is no parking at this place. You can basically park anywhere near the museum. We decided to park across the road from the Saenger Theatre. In my opinion, this is one of the coolest places in Downtown Hattiesburg! I almost didn't go because I needed to get home, but something told me I needed to stop. Low and behold did I know God made this happen. My 16 year-old daughter was with me, and I had the best quality time with her at this museum! Mind you, this is an outdoor museum, we got there just before dark. To start, there were lots of miniature people, places, and animals. In some places, Southern Miss, the University in this town, was highly represented with gold and black decor. Actually, there was so much to see here, so I took lots and lots of pictures for people that may not ever be able to get to go see this piece of art, because you cannot ride in a car through this alleyway. However, you can ride in a wheelchair or motorized wheelchair for the handicapped. Although there aren't any restrooms, it only takes about 20 to 30 minutes to see everything. See the included pics, and hopefully, I'm not infringing on anyone or anyone's business (s) or copyrights....

I can't say enough about this. It is a MUST-see area when anywhere nearby or in Hattiesburg! Every month, they change the theme, so stop by regularly if you live there! Bring a lock to place on the "love lock" heart and seal you & your loved ones love forever. Bring a leash & tags from your pet to hang on the Rainbow Bridge to honor and remember them. There's a ton of stuff and ways that YOU can even add to the art or entertainment there! Bring a painted rock to plant in the rock garden. Leave a mini lego figure in the special library and take one of you leave one. Bring a game to play and leave it there in a clear plastic bag to share with others. Or check out the little library of entertainment that's filled with CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, Game CDs and anything else that's fun for the family. The area is constantly watched & video security helps keep the area from being vandalized and stay safe. As a tourist or a resident, I really hope you take the time to visit...
