Iâve had a couple bad experiences at this theater. The worst one was when they had not shoveled the walks, an old grandma had walked outside. I think to meet the parents of a grandchild that was being dropped off and she fell really hard. The employee who I believe was the owners daughter not sure Stood there from the glass doors inside the theater, And just stared. I walked past her to go help the old woman.. I brought her inside and sat down. Employee was still just staring. I was upset by the whole thing and so I talked a little harsher than I normally would and I looked at her and said could you get some paper towels? She Then proceeded to give me a whole bunch of attitude. I am not sure why she thought she was justified in one Making them safe and not helping the old lady. It seemed to me that she was more concerned about liability than the old womanâs care. It was actually she dismissed me and told me I was no longer needed in helping The old woman.
Other bad experiences include really, really old candy, popcorn, and butter. I donât know if it was the popcorn or the butter guessing it was butter, but something was so off and you could just tell that it was really old And probably expired
Lastly, I use their bathroom. Below is a photo of the toilet bowl rush that is still currently in the womenâs bathroom. I do not need to say...
Read moreI love the small town movie theater feel. (not that we are a small town anymore đ) I would go here before i go anywhere else. I love the convenience of going in town and a less crowded movie house is always nice. I do wish that the owner could maybe put a little smile on his face. We love to support local. We do realize some people sneak treats in, like the people behind us who got reprimanded for doing soâŚ. But people need to realize this is a local guy trying to keep this theater open for all of us!! and his livelihood. He was not able to keep the second one open (Ideal) which would have made it possible for more movies to be shown!! The pop corn is great. We donât feel its over priced we spend just as much if we do bother to make a trip out of town to another theater. Which we only do if we do not see that this theater is able to get that movie on the screen. Thanks for keeping this theater open. We love coming here and hope that it stays open forever!! People who plan to come, if you donât want to be treated âpoorlyâ then donât sneak treats in and donât act like jackwagons! Put yourself in the owners shoes and plan to spend a little extra for snack. AND WHERE ELSE CAN YOU GO AND GET YOUR CHANGE BACK IN 50 CENT PIECES, DOLLAR COINS AND...
Read moreOk place. My husband and I go here for an easy date night. Not sure if it was the movie that was showing...but the staff seemed on edge and rude. Our tickets just got ripped by one of the guys at the door...and I guess they are no longer accepting big bags (I always bring a blanket, pillow and jacket) I was emptying out my bag. I could see that one of the workers told the other worker to make sure that I had no outside snacks. Again, my husband and I go here ALL the time. Usually friendly and the customer service is moderate. My husband had the already torn tickets in his pocket and went to put the bag in the car and the guy looks at me and says where is my ticket. He just tore my ticket...then when I went inside I saw other people having big bags. I thought how rude...we like to support local places...but I think we might have to make the trip...
