Dont purchase used cars from this dealer. They will lie to you and when the car gives issues they will refuse to help you. Recent experience with the General Manager (Gary Anderson) left me in awe. He simply told me bye over and over again. (Attached video) I traded in my 2019 Ranger for a 2004 Rav4 in order to save money as I just had a child and he was in the Nicu for 10 days. After trading in my car and negotiating the price of the Rav4 i was under the impression that the car was registered and I was waiting on plates. I even got to pick out my plate with Josh. In order to trick you they make you sign like 20 documents and one of them says they are not going to register the car. I read the first one and it was explained that this was just saying i was buying the car as is. However on a later paper it says they will not register the car. They even told me that in about 2 weeks i would be getting “it” in the mail which they were referring to the title not the plate. It has been 3 weeks and i havent gotten the title. They told me to call them and they simply told me that they will not do anything. I showed up to the dealer to talk with them. I even shook hands and apologized for hanging up abruptly on the phone and I spoke with them politely and with respect. After speaking with one manager I asked if I could speak to another and the general manager came out and I explained what had happened that the car needed a catalytic converter as it doesnt pass emissions and you cannot register it. He told me that he would not put a single cent into the car and that his phone cost even half as much as the car so what can i expect. I told him that as a good person he might help me pass emissions so I can register the car. Its only fair as I traded in a perfectly working car that even had the mileage maintenance done a little ahead of time. This car has now cost me 7k plus 2k for a lowball trade in which i agreed to for the convenience of working with a dealer and not having to go to the dmv or sell the car myself. And then on top of that looking at 5k in repairs just to register it. Hugely disappointed with the lack of morality of this dealer. When leaving all the guys were smiling and happy as if they had some big victory. The manager even refused to shake my hand and turned around and said “I let you off easy” while his back was turned. My brother bought a truck from this dealership earlier this year and has received nothing but problem and problem. Less than 3 months after picking up the truck, the engine blew while he was driving through Nevada, and this class-act dealership wouldn't do anything about it. He has now had to pay over $6,000 just to get the truck up and running again. He's experienced issues with the heated/cooled seats, the AC, and many other things. When he brought up the AC issues to this dealership, they told him to take the truck to a Ford dealer and have them look at it and send them the quote for how much it would cost to fix it and they would cover it. Well, when he got them the quote, they responded saying that the quote was too high and they won't do it. How is that right? You said you'd pay for it since you've already screwed him over multiple times, and now because it's more money than you expected you just won't do it? Sounds like your team there doesn't know what they are doing, because if they had done things properly, you wouldn't have sold a truck with so many issues and then just acted as if you didn't have any responsibility for selling a crappy truck.
If you have read this review and you are searching for a place to buy a vehicle, do not go here. They will screw you over, leave you with the bills for the issues that they never told you about, and then you are stuck with a vehicle you will have to continuously make repairs on. They won't answer your calls or get back to you like they say they will and you'll just be dead in the water. This Karl Malone dealership is garbage, I wouldn't send my worst enemy here for anything. And by the looks of the other low reviews, this is not the first time and won't be the last time this place does stuff like this.
Reply to Karl Malone's response: if you actually cared about my review and your customers, then you would get things taken care of instead of just replying with nice sound fluffy words that literally mean nothing. He's reach out multiple times, and your dealership has made it very clear that you intend to just make him deal with it all.
If you are going to reply to any of these bad reviews saying that you want to make things better, then actually do it. However, we all know you are just replying with nice words to make yourselves...
Read moreI would like to take a second to share my experience with Karl Malone Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I was buying a vehicle from out of state, as expected there is always a little concern not being able to see the vehicle in person and test drive it before purchasing. Quinn went above and beyond in providing a car fax, answering all questions honestly, and taking pics and videos inside and out of the vehicle, he even got under the truck and sent pics and videos!
There were some things I wanted done before purchasing the vehicle, and there were time constraints on when I needed to pickup the vehicle. Quinn and Richard, again went above and beyond to make sure that timeline was met! Richard and Brian put a lot of time into making sure I had the absolute best rate and the finances worked with my budget, I can’t thank them enough!! Quinn then personally picked me up from the airport 45 mins away and drove me to the dealership! 5 stars isn’t enough to rate my experience, it just doesn’t do these guys justice for their overall service and professionalism!!!
If all that can’t earn your business from the Karl Malone crew in Heber, than I hope this will! After I had signed all the papers and had been handed the keys, I jumped into my new truck for the first time! As I was sitting there familiarizing myself with the new vehicle and preparing to start the journey home, I noticed an elderly couple and a younger gentleman walking towards the entrance of the dealership. The elderly couple were walking with the assistance of a walker, as they approached the entrance a vehicle stopped and none other than Karl Malone himself got out of this vehicle! He greeted the couple with a huge smile and some laughter back and forth, he then proceeded to go out of his way and open the door for this couple! I was shocked, so shocked I regrettably didn’t react quick enough to say high and thank Karl for having the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from him and for the overall experience I received from his staff! I can’t thank everyone enough for this overall experience! I can attest, this is not your typical dealership, nor your typical car salesman, these folks are true professionals and I hope you can give them an opportunity to earn your business!!!
