All the praises for Heber Senator Bed and Breakfast! Our visit was a staycation of sorts. We had reservations at Cafe Galleria and didn’t want to drive during the potential snow storm. Heber City/Midway offers a few chain hotels like Holiday Inn, but upon searching I so luckily stumbled on HSB&B.
Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by staff and given a breakdown of how things operate and where our room was located. We stayed in the blue room.
The common area is wonderfully decorated and offers a comforting homie vibe to it. Oh so welcoming!
Our room had everything we needed and it’s close proximity to the main entrance made it convenient when returning from a late dinner. The room has a nice view and all the accommodations we needed for our stay.
Now we move on to the breakfast portion. Breakfast is served from 7am-9am and while we were a little late, the staff kindly greeted us and were flexible to our late arrival. Sitting in the common area made me feel like I was visiting a family home, the ambiance was divine.
Now the actual breakfast. We were offered a homemade, freshly made blueberry muffin and better than any bakery can make! Fresh OJ to pair. I don’t exaggerate when I say this, but first, to the person reading this: Have you ever seen the movie Ratatouille? There is a scene where the food critic takes a bite of his meal and he is immediately transported to his childhood home where his mother is making him his favorite meal. Watch the movie if you haven’t, it’s great. Anyways, this is what this breakfast provided to me… I am not exaggerating or kidding around in anyway.
I had the Eggs Benedict and it was chefs kiss magnificent. You see the pictures and it’s not anything crazy but I’m telling you it’s just so delicious. We also had a triple berry crepe and it was also fantastic.
Lastly our check out. I actually forgot something and was texted by staff of the item and where I can retrieve it which was refreshing as I’ve lost items at chain hotels and it’s never to be seen again.
I say that if you want an altered experience with personal touches that will have you feeling at complete comfort, come to Heber Senator Bed and Breakfast. They know what they are doing and I can’t wait...
Read moreThis historical bed and breakfast not only lived up to the high quality found in 5 star accomodations but has exceeded my expectations beyond what I imagined a bed and breakfast should deliver! That is rarely found these days!
The charm and warmth was the stars of this place. The sounds of a quaint little bell as you step through the entry door, an old fashioned radio playing in the background and more are the little things that counted for me. But there IS MORE.
I would be amiss if I didn't mention Paul. Not only does he run the place paying attention to make sure you feel welcomed (and he nailed it!) but guess what? He put this same warmth in his cooking!! Yes, he is also the chef! He delivered an impressive culinary experience that said to me, "You matter" not only to my eyes as it was beautiful but my pallette that took YUM to a different level, but every part inside of me that felt I needed that!
Don't be surprised if you find him inviting you to relax by having some nice warm gourmet tea with his very own 'home grown' honey he also grows!
He just might bring his own round orange mug and take a moment to stroll over with a kind- hearted and handsome smile while offering his warm hello! That was perfect especially because it was both raining and lightly snowing outside and a bit chilly out der!
I was very tired when I arrived as I was traveling through taken a night's rest instead of braving the wildlife on the mountain road. So tired that I accidentally booked myself a week later! Oops. Steve the owner was confused that I was there but immediately without missing a heartbeat, made sure I didn't feel like an inconvenience! In fact, he upgraded me to a spa room that wasn't taken!! Isn't that AWE- mazing?!
It was God's tender mercy for me that I truly don't deserve but I felt loved by strangers that were angels amongst me! The experience almost felt like I was in an old tv show called , "Mayberry RFD"! And that says a lot about an old home town feel!

Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oh, where do I even begin? My husband and I recently whisked ourselves away to this hidden gem in Heber, Utah, for our anniversary, and let me tell you—it was pure magic! We stayed in the Senator Suite, and wow, did it live up to its regal name. The space was spotless, cozy, and surprisingly roomy (perfect for spreading out and pretending we were fancy dignitaries). But the real showstopper? That spa tub. It was like soaking in a cloud of dreams—absolute bliss after a day of exploring.
The entire place was beautifully decorated with Regency/Victorian-era charm—think elegant furnishings, soft hues, and just the right amount of vintage flair. It felt like we’d stepped into a Jane Austen novel, but with modern comforts (and that dreamy tub, of course). As we were leaving, we caught a glimpse of the other rooms being cleaned, and oh my goodness, each one was cuter than the last! I’m officially obsessed with the Rose Room—it was so charming and romantic, I’ve decided I need to recreate it in my own home.
The location was just right—close enough to Park City to enjoy all the fun without dealing with the hustle and bustle. And Midway? Adorable! It’s like stepping into a Hallmark movie with its quaint charm.
Now, let’s talk about the people. The owner was an absolute sweetheart, and the service? Impeccable. Every detail was thought of, and we felt so pampered. But the breakfasts—oh, the breakfasts! They were next-level delicious and hearty enough to fuel us for the day. The chef even came out to greet us, and their warmth added such a lovely touch to the experience.
If you’re looking for a romantic getaway that’s equal parts relaxing and indulgent, this is the spot. We left feeling refreshed, well-fed, and already dreaming about our next visit. Highly, highly...
