My kids are reviewing parks so here’s their perspective, I’ll leave my review at the end. I have all boys.

Declan(age 9): Pros: lots of shade, plenty of benches, good for moms and babies, there’s a skate park and basketball court

Cons: Bathrooms were gross. No hoops on the basketball court. No grass or playground.

Tristan(age 5): Pros: Lots of shade, room to run and play, next time I’ll bring my scooter or bike. The rocks are awesome.

Cons: the rocks make your hands red, needs a playground or sand box.

•••••••••••• Okay, so I am a mom of 4 boys ages 9, 5, 3, and 10 months old. We stumbled on this park today bc we took our car to the care wash right around the corner. This was a great spot to kill time and if I had brought the kids scooters or bikes it would have been even better! We tried to find a ball at CVS(across the way) and nothing. Not even Vons had a ball! Apparently, there are trails, we didn’t see that. Didn’t see a splash pad either. Not sure if that’s still there. All in all, it was a great spot for us to kill time today. I don’t think I would bring the kids here for a regular hang out. It’s small, but I would be curious to check out the trails everyone has mentioned! Overall, it was better than hanging out at...

THERE IS A PLAYGROUND HERE AND MORE!

This is a really nice park that is kind of hidden. I lived in this area for 4 months before discovering it. It is behind the Von’s and the strip mall. When you first drive down the road to the park, you see a skate area and basketball court. You might think ā€œthat’s it?!?ā€ For smaller kids, KEEP DRIVING. Go past the firehouse and then you’ll encounter the 2 playgrounds, a smallish spray park, grassy area and two huge dog parks.

I’m writing this review bc some have said there isn’t a playground or anything. There is. You just have to keep driving. It’s a really cute park for kids with some nice trees and landscaping. There’s also a picnic area with grills and some people have parties and gatherings here. Park police do drive through here so make sure your dog is on leash. I was stopped once for that. Lots of kids bring scooters and bikes. Kids and adults kick balls or throw footballs on the grassy area. We’ve flown a kite there on windy days.

There are a couple of trails if you (again) keep driving to the end of the road. They are pretty nice too. I do like the Mc Cullough trails (601 and 602) a bit more and they are just up the street. It’s on...

We used to like it and we still do if we are alone or only a few dogs are there. We've been here only a handful of times and almost everytime our dog gets attacked by other dogs. Our dog is a puppy and isn't aggressive at all. It may be that he is a Male and not neutered so it's an alpha thing but I wish owners with aggressive dogs would either not bring their dog or only bring it when no other dogs are there. Other than that it's a great park, beautiful, and plenty of running/playing space. The fountain for the dogs to drink out of was broken the last few times we went, havent been in over a month though since the last time left a bad taste in our mouth and our dogs paw hurt from an aggressive great dane so it may have been fixed. Overall be cautious of...

Dog Park for smaller pupsšŸ‘. Took bit to find it after replacement by new Henderson FD station. It's located very top, beginning of Park as you enter (far North part of Park). Clean, sizeable, more separated concrete seating areas + now SOME shade from direct sun. 2 gated areas to enter for the more exciteable, rambunctious little ones thrilled to be off leash. Still get some large breed puppies who can be overwhelming for more cautious small breeds, but my experience no harm, no foul. They're all our babies - different looks, potential šŸ˜‰ (photo of an owner's children, brother+sister SAME litter, should be named Night & Day
