My husband and I visited this location tonight around 8pm. We had a server who we had last time and the service prior to this visit with her wasn't that great. However, we still like to give chances and not make one visit our only assumption of the server. It's not that she wasn't kind, which she was, is was that she has no awareness or sense of urgency or attentiveness. This experience is solely based off tonight. We were seated and she took our drink order within about 5 mins. When she came back with our drinks she took my husbands appetizer order and we order a side of fries for our lil guy. A different server/runner came to deliver the fries but no tacos yet. Our server came back within about 5 mins to take our order. We placed our order and NEVER saw our server again. We waited so long to get the tacos that our entrees came out from another server/runner. We were not offered napkins, utensils, drink refills, or any side sauces that we order with our meal. When the other server/runner delivered our meals we asked about the tacos. She went to check our order on the computer then came back to us and said I have to find your server to see what's going on. She never got back to us and neither did our server. By the time we finished our meals our son was getting fussy and we were ready to go. My husband and I waited for what seemed like forever to get anyone's attention...he ended up having to take our toddler outside because he was getting restless. Our original server finally arrived and brought the tacos. By this time I was ready to leave as she placed them on our table there was no apology for the delay or even a word spoken to me. I told her that we no longer wanted the tacos and before I could finish anything else I was saying, while I was still trying to speak to her very politely, she took the tacos off the table and completely ignored anything I had to say. She then came back with the check and by that point I asked to speak to a manager. We were there for 45 mins with absolutely terrible service. No refills, napkins, utensils not even and apology for the wait on the appetizer tacos. After I spoke the the manager the server goes and speaks to her....it's pretty obvious they were talking about what I just said. The server ends up shrugging her shoulders and the both end up smiling at the end of the conversation. Now, I'm obviously not 100% sure they were talking about the incident but it was obvious. Just seems little unprofessional and the server obviously didn't hold any accountability for our experience. I paid my bill and STILL no apology from the server. Read moreAug 4th, 19. The entire experience was very monotone. The server who sat us, not even a smile as she approached the host stand. One thing stood out to make our experience OK for a moment was the gentleman in charge tonight. It was very nice to have someone ask us how everything is/was, when our server Hayli didn't.
At the end, we waited for over 5 minutes to get our check and had to ask another waitress. My dad, being an older gentleman, stood up to walk to the front of the restaurant to pay the bill. Our server said "you can take care of that with me." My dad said that he wanted to get up and pay for it. Hayli countered "well you would still have to take care of it with me for it is under my card," and guided him back to the booth. I informed her he didn't want to stand so she shuffled off to the side to pay the bill. I have been a waitress for 14 years and never would I question what a guest wanted to do. I would follow them to where they wanted to be to pay that bill if it means they are comfortable....
Total came out to $47 something, my dad asked for two 5's in the change coming back to him for he paid $60. She only gave him two 5's back in return and nothing else. My dad being done with the night, didn't care to inform her that the rest of his change was owed back to him. He dropped off a $5 at the table (that she didn't deserve on top of what she kept from him) and her lack of customer service.
I am unsure if this server is new or if she was properly trained and maybe she didn't understand him but it is always best to never assume you heard something right because then the experience (if one is wrong) does not leave a lasting impression and makes us not want to return.
Side note: nothing looks worse to a customer then seeing a break table for employees in the restaurant. It would be one thing if the restaurant was empty or even if the servers had their heads on a swivel stick constantly monitoring the restaurant but that was not the case for all of the employees except one woman (I wish I knew her name to properly give her credit, long brown hair in a ponytail) but she was all over the restaurant floor, we saw her more taking care of business than we saw our server...
Read moreWe entered this place very happy & walked out very upset. The 4 of us entered and were seated. The waitress came and took our drink order. She brought like 6 cups of water for 4 people plus our drinks. My Alcohol drink took forever. She claimed the blender was broke. After giving us our drinks she took off when we were already ready to order. We waited for about 30 mins. Our waitress was helping the people who came in after us. So finally my daughter asked if she could take our order. She said of course and walks over to a small counter to take our order instead of standing in front of our table! My son and daughter in law had to turn their heads and half their body to order!! She takes the order and storms away. We're thinking what did we do to her? After a VERY LONG WAIT, The manager brings our food out. The waitress whos name was Jess walks by the table twice and yells everything ok? Not even stopping! Then later tells us is this on one bill as shes standing at the counter again. We tell her how the checks are to be split. She walks away, brings back our receipts and sets them all together on the table without saying a word and walks off. We just sorted out the receipts ourselves. We put up our books with forms of payments. She comes by, collects them without any words. Then she comes back and sets them down again all together having us sort them out! Not to mention my sons change was $2.34 and she just brings him the 2 dollars. Is she tipping herself? The food we ordered was not correct and we didn't even have her take it back. We don't understand why she was being soo rude. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I DID NOT TIP!! I PRETTY MUCH FELT WE WERE ON OUR OWN. FOOD WAS NOT GREAT. MY DRINK TASTED ALCOHOL FREE. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. NOR WILL MY KIDS. BAD CUSTOMER...
