Whitney Mesa Park Recreation Area — Attraction in Henderson

I love this little nature getaway,right off the side of a road where people drive like its a highway, and several pedestrians have suffered the consequences, fatally..moral of the story is simple,and sincere. If you come here,come with respect,and mindfulness of your safety,and remain vigilant.Dont drive like you are the only one here, imagine how horrible life would be,if you really were alone here...cmon,now... I digress. I highly recommend checking this park out,be aware in the very early morning hours,the ground is wet,and EXTREMELY SLICK,you will be on the ground,if you think you wont,so caution is required. However,when you do get to the trail up the mountain,and,beyond that point,it is absolutely a breathtaking and beautiful experience...prrhaps just beautiful, for those who are in great physical shape...I myself maintain, breathtaking,...

This park is amazing! It's a tad bit hard to notice that it is a park from the main street when pulling up, but once inside, it is a beauty! There's a LARGE grassy area, and even some creative spaces like a wagon, a horse and assorted stones for great photos!

My favorite part is the Baby and Parent combo swing! My son is turning one very soon and and he completely loved his first time on the swings! But I got to enjoy it first hand while swinging with him! Its an amazing experience.

The only downfall right now is that the basketball courts are missing the hoop and rims, but thats clearly due to the pandemic. Otherwise, Its an amazing location for great photos, family time or even...

A beautiful park for family and friends! This is a great place for you to enjoy a little bit a quiet it wasn’t too loud in the day that we went there were only a few families. So the kids were able to play and the adults were able to talk. It’s a great place for pictures with the family or just having a nice little picnic. Nice and quiet.Not close to the street so you get plenty of fresh air and a beautiful Mountain View I really enjoyed going to this part the grass was beautiful and the trees were nice and it’s just a nice park.
