Kenneth is the person "helping" me. He seems to know the job but DOESN'T know customer service. I give more than just my product to my customers in my business transactions, I also give good customer service. I expect the same from business I patronize. He has interrupted the work he's supposed to be doing for me, to deal with two different other customers; no "Do you mind if I finish this with him?" "Do you mind if I help this other person? " And lastly he just left to go do I don't know what about running out of paper???? AND he can't see or hear. I held my tongue throughout the entire ordeal until the very end when he couldn't spell my last name correctly despite my repeating it multiple times, louder and louder each time until I was intentionally yelling at him. I still never asked him what his problem was or educated him about customer service as I so wanted to do. I would suggest "Patrick" the store manager, make a point of addressing the importance of and providing training for customer service. I don't know if I was being discriminated against but Kenneth and I are different from each other; different everything. The people he chose to rudely interrupt my transaction with at least visibly had more in common with Kenneth than I did. The next person may not handle this situation...
Read moreNeeded a ream of 20lb printing paper. Although the store was clean and the employees were nice I found the prices on their standard Office Depot printing paper a bit ridiculous. I couldn't find the printing paper in individual reams, all I seen was boxes of 10 reams for $54, which was a competitive price. I asked a floor assistant where the individual reams were and she said they are at the checkout. I went to the checkout and found them advertised for 2 reams for $15. I cringed at the price but bought it anyway as I needed the paper right away. I looked at the receipt after getting home and thought Office Depot wants me to feel better about spending that much money on 2 reams of printing paper. The receipt said 2@14.98 = 28.98, promotion -13.98 = $15. Do the math. To buy 10 reams at that price would be @144.90. I call this fluffing. It also says if don't buy our 10 ream special your going pay a bigger price to buy them individually. When all said and done Amazon beats Office Depot hands down and it's delivered to your door free with Prime. Which tells me to never get into a situation of needing printing paper right now, and to never shop at deceptive...
Read moreI have meant to write this review for about two weeks now, but to the brunette girl working Sunday mornings, thank you sooo much. I was having an issue with my resume & cover letter formatting, printing one letter per line on the last few sentences. I had a meeting I needed to be at before the interview and was running on an extremely tight schedule. Thank you for going way above and beyond the expectations of your job and helping me get my documents printed correctly - I appreciate you a ton. To management: if you pay your workers more they're prone to invest more into their labor. The CEO made over 10 million dollars last year, with annual 7-10% raises, including stock packages. PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES (This country rules!).
Given the pay disparity between everyone and team members, I know the employee who helped me did it because they are intrinsically a good person, which I appreciate. In conclusion, you may not find great deals here, but I can attest to the employee that I interacted with being top...
