I decided to stop in to grab a cold brew during a grocery run on Saturday 5/17/25 around 12:30 in the afternoon. Per normal, the Target Starbucks line was rather long, but I was luckily shopping kid free that day and in no rush to scurry back home, so I waited patiently (all the mamas understand). I would guesstimate I waited between 10-15 minutes and the entire time only one person was working, a very tall, dark haired man. I wish I had gotten his name because I would love to give him the biggest shout out! The whole time I was in line I watched him seamlessly take multiple orders and make their drinks all in a line like a bar tender. He never messed up, never faltered, and pumped out coffee to the masses like a pro. You know how us white girls can get about our sugar flavored drinks, and he met every single one of us in line with a big smile and welcomed greeting. He held polite conversations as he worked and even made sure each person got their correct order handed directly to them, instead of just slamming them on the counter for you to find. I'm not sure where you found them gem of a gentleman, but during the time I was there, he made each and every person feel like their order was important and even the grumpiest Karen seemed to leave in a better mood (that may have also been because they finally got their caffeine fix for the day). He made sure when taking your order you didn't miss anything, and would double check to make sure you have everything you want when he handed off the goods. He'd even offer to fix your drink if you have any issues. I know it's stressful being the only one working (I'm hoping there was a coworker on break and Starbucks didn't just fail this man by having him work alone on a Saturday), and I hope he knows how amazing he is to take a deep breath, grit his teeth, and keep on pushing through as if nothing was the matter. I don't even know if my cold brew tasted good or not because the only flavor I could taste was pride. Whoever his mama is,...
Read moreAll I can say is don’t go here. I have seen the employees all sit down and close the store hours early, all the employees in the back passing around a vape walking out with it still coming out of their mouths, employees yelling and fighting saying they don’t like each other, drinks made wrong all of the time because employees are too lazy to make more product/go get more product/want to stay open for the entire business hours, employees loudly saying racist and homophobic slurs, employees walking around the store together giggling and laughing pushing an empty cart during business hours, employees all walking to the back as soon as they see a customer , etc. There have been multiple instances of me standing at the counter for 5+ minutes wondering where everyone went only for the employees to all walk out together laughing and snickering and then they make fun of me for buying a drink. I asked to speak to a manger multiple times and I was told “I would but she doesn’t care either”. I’m not sure how this place is still open honestly; it could not be worse. Whoever runs this Starbucks needs to close it down and reevaluate everything before opening the store again. The employees are rude, entitled, arrogant, greedy, untrained, offensive, and disrespectful. It has been like this for a while now but every time I decide to give it another try it has only gotten worse. Target starbucks should not have worse service than a Taco Bell. Do they even have cameras to watch the employees? If they did they would see absolutely nothing being done. I have even seen an employee take of his shirt to change clothes in the back around the product! This...
Read moreI love Starbucks. I go to this location every Sunday after I shop at Target. I wait in the very long lines and try to be understanding of the wait. Today I ordered my coffee and the lady running the register was extremely rude. I stated that I did not want whipped cream on my iced coffee and instead of saying ok, she argued with me, saying they didn’t put whip cream on iced coffee. I let her know that I had whip cream on there a few weeks ago so I just say it now. She asked me if I wanted it sweetened and I said yes and she got an attitude asked again this time with even more of an attitude. I answered her and she said “ I can’t understand you”. She then asked if I wanted cream and I told her that I wanted cream in the drink but not whipped cream. She had a very thick accent and her attitude got worse as I kept trying to order my drink she asked me a question once again if I wanted cream and I told her that I wasn’t sure why she kept asking me the same questions over and over. I paid and moved over to wait for my drinks and she made a comment to the other barista and gave me a dirty look. It’s really a shame that she would act that way toward a customer. The wait at this location is long enough at times without a cashier giving customers...
