Wow! This place is amazing! We are not local to High Point, but thankfully this place was not a far drive away. It is definitely worth travelling to from anywhere in the Triad (or beyond!). I took my 10 year old and a friend today, and they had a blast. I do not normally write reviews, but I really hope the word gets out on this blessing of a place. There were so many incredible active things to do and participate in, as well as super cool technology that would delight anyone! I found as a parent, I really wanted to take part in all the fun and kept looking around to make sure it was okay if I did :). My daughter and her friend are typically developing children and had an AMAZING time, which was a huge gift to me (as it's sad when your kids have aged out of the children's museums in the area but still have plenty of "child" in them). Recognizing what a gift it was to us today, I cannot even imagine what a gift it must be for special needs families. It has to be a sincerely moving experience to walk into a place that has been designed specifically for a huge range of abilities in mind . . . including special needs children and adults who are usually an afterthought in design. Everyone should go to have a great time, but also go to support this amazing business so that ALL kids have a place that is made for them! It makes for the most feel-good day! Plus - staff were all so friendly, everything was sparkling clean, and all the equipment was in great condition . . . again, that's something you don't see at most places made for play and/or kids. Thank you Q's Corner! Wishing you all the best and...
Read moreQ’s Corner is a GEM!! This place is a wonderland of sensory experiences for humans of ALL ages and abilities! We stumbled upon it on a rainy day and we were in absolute AWE! The facility is big and has an endless amount of play options some include; the largest ball pit I’ve ever seen, slides, swings, a trampoline, an entire “soft” room of foam shapes, a room with a waterbed, a dark room with various options for touching, making sounds, making patterns, etc.. the list goes ON and ON.
One thing that really stood out to me about Q’s Corner is: they are an inclusive space for all ages and abilities - there are wheelchair adaptive swings and bikes, there’s is an elevator to the second floor (with EVEN MORE options for play)!
The staff that I had the pleasure of interacting with during my two visits were incredibly kind and helpful. they went above and beyond - making a kind connection with each person who walked in the door, ensured they were comfortable and familiar with the space, and then stepped back and let you move at your own pace/comfort. This place is magical. We visited with 3 adults and 1 child (1year) and we could’ve spent all day in this space - and it is super reasonably priced!! Adults don’t pay, and they PLAY! What could be better than that? It’s clear that everyone working at Q’scorner Have a passion for this work- and we are grateful for them and this wonderland they are providing...
Read moreI am a 15 year old young man, and I have 2 sister's with disabilities. My oldest sister has autism and my younger sister lost her ability to walk and talk 4 years ago, she went 15 minutes without oxygen after her heart stopped unexpectedly. It was nice to see them having a good time. I never knew there was a swing for wheelchairs, my sister swinged for a while and the owner pushed her for almost an hour, while she talk to my mom, I don't know what they were saying but my mom was all smiles too. My oldest sister was so happy she laughed and sung to herself. I can not wait for us to go back! We stay an hour away but the ride was worth it. I see adult reviews on here but I wanted to give the point of view of a young man that actually played in this place and it was sooo fun for myself and my disabled sisters. They have a room for just about every disability. I wasn't surprised to see some toys broken, from my experience having a sister with autism, she break toys a lot. Not on purpose but she just plays rough with things so I expected to see toys broken, not a lot of stuff but a few things. It was also other kids there with disabilities and they were excited like my sisters were but things were getting thrown around and stuff like what kids naturally do. No one got hurt, I recommend this place to sum this review up. Thanks for...
