AMAZING pizza. Great crust, flavorful sauce and excellent cheese. Exactly what I want from a pizza. The staff is warm and friendly and really helpful. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by not checking this place out. Especially if you're a big pizza fan
Additional info after another visit: I also HIGHLY recommend you grab yourself one or maybe even twelve Garlic Knots. They're absolutely fantastic. They're soft and with a perfect level of browning. But be sure you use the tomato dipping sauce. It takes them to a whole other level. The sauce tasted so fresh as if they cut up some tomato's and made the sauce just for me right then and there. And that freshness goes for their pizza as well. This is what I believe puts this place above many others. You know you're eating fresh, quality ingredients.
And I cannot forget their desserts. I'm not even sure what it was that I ate ( I'll update) but it was outstanding. It was like this amazing light and airy pistachio mousse and some other creamy mousse-like later between thin layers of I believe sponge cake with some chopped pistachios. I don't know 😂 I just know I've never had anything like that. The smoothness combined with slight crunch from the pistachios just come together to create an absolute fantastic texture. And again, I can't stress enough how the obvious freshness of the ingredients combined with a talented kitchen create such a delectable dessert. I'll update once I find out more about it because I'll be definitely bringing home several slices for my family...but mostly for me.
I work in the area and have tried all the rest. Pappagallos is far superior in every way. So much so that the next time I'm getting pizza at home, I will happily take the 15-20 minute drive to...
Read moreUpdate: I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t been in for a bit and they feel weird about it because I usually went a few times a week but they overcharge me completely for my usual order. Hadn’t been in due to some other financial obligations and had been cooking at home, stopped in today and decide to see if I could just upcharge the garlic bread that came with my meal and add cheese and the guy told me I could. Normally I order the additional garlic bread which makes my meal about $33 dollars. When I paid the total was $33 but I really like the place and the one guy is super fun and friendly and I like getting to say hello(he wasn’t there I will see), so I didn’t want to have them change it as my food was almost done when I paid. I get home. Pull out the garlic bread with cheese, look in the bag, there wasn’t the regular side garlic bread. So essentially the guy charged me the price of the full garlic bread to basically add cheese. The loaf is slightly larger than it would have been, but I didn’t pay the same price to get less food. Love their penne vodka with chicken, will miss it, but will not return. I don’t think spiteful esa is a good way to treat a customer who had been such a regular, even if I hadn’t been around due to financial reasons.
Food still slaps, im not leaving this review to discourage others from going saying it’s bad. Just want to express the distaste I feel towards nonsense like that.
My go to spot for food after work in the area. Everyone that works there is really friendly, the food is delicious and it’s always ready quick and on time, usually 20 minutes or less. I basically go here at least once a week. Love their penne vodka. Would and have...
Read moreNew place great reviews so me and my sister went to check it out. It really holds up to the reviews, amazing service & amazing food. -Pizza- we had the Margherita pizza. Sauce was sweet tangy and fresh, I personally wish there was more basil. I can just imagine how good the calzone here is by that pizza. This pizza is very addictive, it’s been a few hours and I’m still craving that pizza no matter how full I am -With our orders we had a side salad with bread & balsamic vinegar. Honestly, the sauce was amazing like everything, the attention to detail here is just awesome, warm bread came with garlic oil that was just prefect -Linguini With Clams (white sauce): this was my sisters order, she wished it was saltier but when I tasted it, it was nice and very buttery. Grill Salmon Special- I loved how lemony this dish was and how everything just works together. Very generous with portions and the size of the salmon. I love how simple this dish is and how delicious it is.
Desserts- very sweet They didn’t have Tiramisu when we went but the tres leche cake was still amazing. Very creamy and sweet. The frosting I believe had a bit of cream cheese that helps cut the sweetness but still very sweet. Second dessert I believe it’s the Baklava, very flakey, honestly would be prefect as a breakfast dessert. It was a bit too sweet for my liking but I loved how flakey it is.
Would 100% recommend people to try here, I need another bite...
