I was over at their newest Amy's Boutique shopping for a clothing item. As I was shopping I had this woman ( customer ) literally bump into to me and said "oh sorry" sarcastically and then did it again then pushed the clothes on the rack over so I couldn't even slide the hangers so I could see what I was trying to look for. I said "let me just move" she laughed & continued. The clerk was just staring at me. I went to the other end found a pair of pants I was going to try on until the clerk kept walking over acting as though I was going to walk out with them in hand. Then she said ( not even politely ) give me those I will hold them at the desk. I was appalled beyond words. I have shopped at Amy's since they opened & have one of the smallest hand bags that wouldn't even be able to hold a clothing item in it. To be treated like that. I said, I will come back another day and she just "grunted " at me & had a smirky laugh with the customers as I was walking out. I can say I will never buy anything from this store again. You will not only lose me but you will lose a lot of customers by treating us this way. Yes, I have spent good money at your store over the year's but there are other boutiques out there. I do have to agree with another review, they are more money here. I have found items I have purchased cheaper elsewhere. No big deal on the $.. Remember customer service is everything. Just because I wasn't dressed up that day doesn't mean I am a customer you should treat differently than ones...
Read moreI wanted to share a strange experience I had here as a warning to anyone planning to visit.
While browsing the toy section with my daughter, she picked up a small plastic bottle of nail glitter, which accidentally fell from her hands. The bottom of the container popped open, and shortly after, an associate approached us and insisted we purchase the broken item. Not wanting to cause a scene, I agreed and paid for it. However, I wish I had taken a closer look at the item because it seemed odd that it broke in such a way (the bottom simply falling out).
Many of the items in this store are fragile and priced higher than their quality would suggest. Even more concerning, they are often poorly placed in narrow aisles or on unstable displays, creating a high risk of accidents. With such a rigid "break it, you buy it" policy, this setup feels unfair to customers.
For reference, the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) states that businesses are responsible for ensuring their premises are safe for customers, including properly displaying fragile goods to prevent accidents.
Unless changes are made to improve both safety and item quality, I cannot...
Read moreThis place is always a treat to come to! The way they decorate the store for each season is an absolute FEAST for the eyes. I always find the perfect gifts for people in my life here. One thing to note is there are two Amy stores a couple doors down from each other. One is decor and one has the womenâs clothing. I went to the decor one first and was confused where all the cute clothes went and just figured they decided to focus more on the holiday/house decor and kids stuff. I almost missed the fact that there was an entire extra store a...
