Audio Logic — Attraction in Hollywood

I went to Audio Logic as a recommendation direct from JL Audio's website. They are an authorized dealer/installer which I needed because the warranty was very important to me. When I found out they were the #1 JL dealer, I knew they had the knowledge of the products and were going to put me in the right gear, the first time.

JL audio is premium gear, and of course warrants a premium price tag - so buying the correct piece of gear, and not needing to upgrade (from buying the wrong piece) seemed like the most obvious way to "save money". I chose Hertz speakers to compliment the JL amps and Subwoofer after listening to some of the staff's cars. (Which they are always willing to do. In fact Charlie told me to come back tomorrow and that he would bring in his other car, to show me the exact setup I was interested in so I could hear the amps/speakers IN a car, not on a wall or display board) Seeing that they use the exact gear they sell was comforting because it let me know they believe in the product.

After installation and driving around listening for a few weeks I went back to the shop with some questions and concerns. (To say I'm VERY picky would be an understatement.) They immediately made the changes I requested, and couldn't have been more courteous about it. Considering they had multiple customers when I arrived, I was very pleased to see my car was being attended to in a matter of moments. Customer Service and professionalism are in excess here - and in a day when customer service doesn't seem to exist anymore - this meant EVERYTHING to me. You can buy your gear anywhere. Nice store layout and decent location. It's conveniently located close by busy areas that a lot of residents frequently visit. However, be warned that they will not touch your car unless every single item is bought from their store. Even the power cable MUST be bought from them. I found a deal online for a subwoofer I had been watching for a year that saved $120 for the father's day weekend and my wife bought it for me. I was excited to have it installed and would need amps, wiring, mids/highs, and crossover/signal processor. Aside from the sub, everything else I would pay for from them along with the obvious installation fees etc. The guy that was running the shop told me directly that they will not do it unless I buy from them all items. He says he can't make the money he expects because of online sales. Mind you, this is from one sub in an entire system. I then asked if they had this sub. They did. It was on sale but the price was $70 more than my wife paid before taxes. He suggested that I return the sub and buy it from him. I thanked him for his time and left. While leaving he suggested that I try another store west of their's. I did and the sub was installed the next day along with amps, audio control, mids/highs etc. Working great! Be warned: Go with NOTHING in your car except OEM. They won't even add to existing system that wasn't bought and sinstalled by them. Too much knowledge also does not work in your favor. This place is fantastic. It took me a moment to finally get around to writing this review, but this is a place I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for car audio systems. From the first moment that I walked in, the guy (sorry, I am bad with names) was very nice and asked me questions about what I was looking for so that he would give me a good recommendation. I liked that he wasn't trying to push unnecessary items, instead, he recommended the right system and then gave me a written quote and scheduled my appointment.

The day of the install, the process couldn't have been easier. They took my car and installed the new head unit and they did a fantastic job. Not only does the equipment sound amazing, but it also looks fantastic. They took such good care of my car! They cleaned up everything when they were done. As the process was done, they communicated with me and when I got back to pick the car up, they took the time to talk through the process they've done and showed me how to operate the new car stereo. I was so amazed at not only the details about the explanation, but also with the care they took of my car. I really appreciate the time they took and just their whole customer experience.
