A great store for Middle Eastern food, probably as old as the strip it’s located on. It’s small, but clean, well-organized and offers a wide variety of authentic typical products.

The prices are very reasonable, and come with an “extra bonus”: a very kind owner that will help you choosing the right product depending on the food that you want to prepare or try!!

We went there just to buy some bulgur, which they have available in different grain sizes, but came out also with a tahini sauce and a Lebanese spice that intrigued us. All their spices are behind the counter, and are sold loose, so you can also buy just a “sample”.

A little gem of a place! In spite of the name, the owner is actually Iranian, not Syrian, actually as he says it: Persian. He is very knowledgeable and helpful, reminds me of the old stores in Italy back when I was a kid in the 70’s.

They carry plenty of food from the middle-East, I found the bulgur I wanted (as the owner suggested: #3 bulgur to make Tabbouleh), they have a lot of spices and if you doubt the use of something just asks the owner: he know a lot and will enjoy explain things to you.
