Manatee County Beach — Attraction in Holmes Beach

Great beach. Clean, Clearwater, white sand. But the Holmes Beach Police gave my car a $150 citation for “parking within 30 ft of intersection and not having all 4 tires on the grass”. The road was a 90 degree turn not an intersection! No stop signs or anything! And that 4 tries thing is just a slap in the face. After looking at the reviews of that department I see this is a common thing for the police department to do. Will not return to this beach! Obviously the county doesn’t want us...

First time here at this beach, and I must say, it was one of the prettiest beaches I've been to in. There was plenty of free parking, a playground for kids, restrooms, changing rooms, and some of the best views for sunsets, sunrises, and just an all around relaxing time. I'd definitely recommend this beach. I'd love to come back. You also can see so many dolphins which was an amazing!! Definitely worth the trip to...
