MV Minnow dolphin tours anna maria island — Attraction in Holmes Beach

The experience did not start out great with the instructions to meet the boat at a different location due to the dock closure. We waited almost 30 minutes and called the company and they explained the dock opened the day before but the directions had not been updated.

The tour (Sunset Dolphin Tour) itself turned out to be a great experience. We saw a lot of dolphins, Bonnet Head sharks chasing crabs across the surface and a family of manatees including a baby manatee. The sunset was incredible. Captain Joe did a nice job getting us close, but not too close, to the dolphins, manatees and other sights. It was a small tour with just 6 of us so he was able to navigate more quickly than the other larger boat tours that were out looking for dolphins too. Overall fun experience for my wife, son and...

This boat tour we took last weekend ,was an amazing experience. The Capt and asst were very kind, and they explained all safety protocols et before the tour left . While we were cruising around, my kiddos and I learned so many cool facts about Cortez fishing et... dolphins ,and other marine life. They made it interesting and fun!!! We def want to do this again soon. Def a 5/5 experience . Kids already begging me to do it again. The 20 min stop at a sandbar to get it was super neat too. Captain Frank and his first mate Sandy were such a treat! I was there visiting with my 5 best friends from college and we booked a trip with Captain Frank. We were looking for a “sunset cruise” but to be real1 we think we are 25 (or younger) again and usually focus our fun around “can we also drink while doing this fun activity” because we all left our life responsibilities at home.
