Anyone in the area i ABSOLUTELY recommend this tour!! We went for the 12:00 tour and with everyone on board 15 minutes early we left 15 minutes ahead of schedule! Our captain Andrew was FANTASTIC and extremely informative, never a dull moment the entire ride. We saw a lone dolphin about 30 minutes in, followed it around. Then headed under Manatee bridge and between the bridge and Cortez we spotted a pod of 4 dolphins! At this time Captain Andrew said that we had a slim 10% chance of having the dolphins riding the boat's wave because they don't tend to like the waves this boat makes but he was going to try. The dolphins were ALL over it and we drove for a good few minutes with the dolphins jumping and gliding below the waves. This was honestly the most magical thing I've ever experienced. The dolphins came right up to us multiple times. 2 more dolphins joined the group and they were VERY active doing tricks and splashing around!! On our way back we spotted 2 more and ended up going over our time slot, we didn't get to go to the last stop in Cortez but the boat tour was already well worth the price you pay for this experience! The entire tour was just priceless, huge koodos to Captain Andrew he made this trip unbelievable!!!! And to anyone with poor reviews saying they saw no dolphins or they weren't jumping...these boat tours don't get to control that. They absolutely try their best of course but I honestly I thought we were only going to see the one lone dolphin and I would be pretty satisfied with just seeing that. We went on a sunset dolphin watch cruise, departing from the Marina adjacent to the hotel. We went with my daughter, her husband and our two grandchildren, ages 9 and 7. We were the only ones on the cruise. It was very exciting to see the dolphins jumping in the waves created by the high speed motor boat. Our captain was safety conscious, very knowledgeable about the dolphins and their habitat and willing to answer the questions my grandsons had. We were able to take snacks and drinks to eat on the boat which was helpful. It was also delightful to have the waterline conveniences available to us. We had a half hour wait prior to our tour and got drinks at their bar. Our boat did not have a restroom so we were grateful for the use of the facilities at the end of our tour. We also enjoyed watching the birds settle down for sleep in the little sandbar adjacent to Bean point. There were approximately 3000 birds 🦅 flying in for bedtime! That was...
