J.Hara Store — Attraction in Honolulu

I just wanted to send a quick note of praise for Bryce at the Kaimuki store. I recently visited him for help getting a small setup for my wife and I to start fishing as we haven't done any since we were kids and Bryce was extremely helpful.

After just giving Bryce my budget and plans, he quickly helped me around collecting all the perfect items and thoroughly explained how to use them together. Couldn't ask for any better service than he provided. I will be back again soon for more gear and will happily recommend the store to anyone else looking for fishing gear.

With the decline of quality service at most businesses it was a really refreshing experience to be helped with honest enthusiasm and no attempts to oversell me on things I did not yet...

first time going to J.Hara and was impressed. small store but I found everything I needed. good selection of muzzleloader equipment from primers to bullets and powders. if I bought that online it would be cheaper but not much cheaper but when u factor in shipping and hazmat cost u can beat the short drive to J.Hara store. service was friendly people were helpful and now my new place for muzzleloader...

Hunter was super friendly, I was buying a gift for someone, and he helped steer me the right direction. It was for fishing equipment, whipping from shore, he was super honest let me know he didn’t know the side of the island I looking at buying for super well, but let me know what he’s heard and what works for him. Lots of good selection of local made lures and local branded stuff, stoked. Thanks...
