Read moreI would like to start this review by extending a special thank you to all the staff at Family Fun Park located at 3500 Central Ave in Hot Springs, AR 71913. Three of us went today and we had an absolute blast go-karting together.
If you're seeking a great go-karting experience, I highly recommend trying out the Go-Kart 16 (Single Seat), which is the fastest option that we had available today. Following closely behind is the Go-Kart 12, another single-seat kart. Family Fun Park offers both single-seat and tandem-seat Go-Karts, so you can choose the style that suits your preferences. Be sure to ask the staff, if you wish, which single-seat or tandem-seat(2 seat) kart is the fastest and they will let you know.
The go-kart course at Family Fun Park is incredibly enjoyable. The track layout is well-designed, providing a thrilling experience for all ages. The tandem-seat carts are great to go with the younger kids who are not able to drive the karts yet. The layout was an exciting ride, and we found ourselves laughing and cheering as we raced around the track. It is hard not to have a smile while racing together. You have about 5 min to race around the course and try to beat your friends, family or others that may be on the course with you. The cost at the time we went was between 6$-7$ per person for each ~5min go-kart course drive.
In addition to go-karting, Family Fun Park offers a variety of other attractions. They have a small selection of arcade machines at this location, which can provide some extra fun between go-kart sessions. The indoor Spin Zone bumper cars and the 5D Ultimate VR Experience machine, which accommodates up to eight people at once, are also worth checking out. But wait!! There is more, there's an indoor area featuring a rope and zip line for both adults and children aged 5 and above. They even have a toddler rope zip suitable for children as young as 2 years old. Lastly, don't miss the impressive 30-foot giant climbing beanstalk, which offers a unique climbing experience.
If you're planning to visit Family Fun Park, be sure to inquire about their current promotion for the $100 card. With this promotion, you'll receive an extra $20 when you purchase the $100 card. The card can be used at multiple locations within Hot Springs and remains valid for up to 10 years, providing ample opportunity for enjoyment.
Overall, our experience at Family Fun Park was fantastic. Whether you're a family looking for a fun outing or simply seeking some excitement, Family Fun Park is definitely...
Read moreWent here and the other location (T. rex) in march of 2023.. where do I begin? I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE GOING HERE!! My family of 4 ( 2 parents, 8 y.o. & 4 y.o) and our first impression was bleh. The package prices are kind of high for what’s offered. FF Park was sad looking inside. Very few “arcade” games and all are dated. Not many options at the ‘snack bar’ and few staff on site. Went to T Rex to see if options were better.. 👎🏽. We bought tickets for go carts, mini golf and zip line. We tried to do the go carts. Went over to the other building and could not get in the door marked “go cart entrance”. Had to go back to the first building to see what was up. Got told to go in the laser tag door. After going through a couple back room, sketchy looking hallways. We got to the go carts and no one was there to help us. Assuming it was closed, we went back over to the main building to try golf. Got putters and went through another “alley” to the next building and instantly got creeped out. The mini golf is in darkness which was expected because it’s black light golf, however, there is no alternative lighting outside of the black-lights and the loud dinosaur/gorilla sound effects were scary for young kids. Also, no attendant in this area either. So we had a family with young kids, in a dark unattended garage trying to golf. We did our best to make it less creepy but the kids wanted out. Made it to hole #6 and dipped ✌🏽 Went back to FFP to do the go carts. Me and the husband each had a kid riding with us. My go cart stopped around the corner from the first curve, husband’s stopped before going up the hill. Both of us had to get new carts. The attendant couldn’t see us so we waited a long while before getting help. Once we got going we got to ride for about 3 laps and had to get off. Then we let our oldest do the zip line. Immediately after getting her strapped in, the attendant left the building. That made us very uncomfortable seeing as we were the ONLY ONES in the building watching her on the course. Of course daughter got scared and wanted to get off. Had to go find the attendant to unhook her. We left pretty quick after that. Even though we got to “do” everything we paid for, we were highly disappointed and pretty creeped out. The whole place is sketchy and poorly run. Honestly, I’d skip this and go ahead up the road to LR to Big Rock Fun Park or any other place they have....
