Pak Plaza Pawn Shop — Local services in Hot Springs

Very poor customer service my brother purchased a ring from them and asked them to wait so I could pick it up at closing time I was there as they were about to walk out and they told me I could not pick up the engagement ring because they were about to close I had money in hand and they refused me service Even though they told my brother just minutes before that they would wait I was there 2 mins before their closing time and they refused me service This is probably the worst place in hot springs to do business with I’m very unsatisfied! Southern pawn on Albert pike is a much better place to do business with David at southern pawn will go out of his way to make sure that the customer is happy Just got a reply from the owner and instead of attempting to make it right he continued to justify his actions I wish his reply would have been public so everyone could see that he is more concerned about defending his actions than pleasing a customer This speaks volumes about his customer service, not only to me but to every potential customer in the future so please be warned that he is far more concerned about himself than his customers sort through the other negative reviews and you will see the tire character...

My husband and I were just in to look around. He ran across a hand gun he was very interested in. He had it pulled out to hold, talked to the lady about the details. He didn't have his wallet on hand. He said let him think a second and grab his wallet. Even talked about how much he needed for layaway, talked about price along with what comes with it. Lady agreed to hold it for second while he gathered his thoughts. We walked out to car, grabbed his wallet and then back in to purchase said hand gun. And the lady sold it. Very unprofessional, this all happened in a matter of a few minutes. The lady could of double checked to make sure my husband wasnt purchasing it, which she would of found him walking back from car with wallet. We purchase several firearms yearly from local pawn shopes and never seen a business transaction go so shady. Even as a by stander in the situation, my jaw dropped from the lack of respect and dishonestly. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone and will let other local gun collectors know as well. Here is a young and vibrant young lady who cares about the customer, who will go out of her way to exemplify and set the bar very high for others to take notice in the work place . Call it salesmanship, call it whatever, I call it real and satisfying. I would have bought the whole store because of the way she presented herself.
