Burger King — Restaurant in Hot Springs

Last Monday I didnt feel like cooking. Just moved to Hot Springs so I thought hmmm a burger would be nice. Saw Burger King and parked and walked on in...the following is what happened.

I walk in and was happy the AC was blasting but my joy at that quickly disappeared when I felt the absolute hatred from the staff. It was so palpable I wanted to turn back and walk out but what could I say I was hungry.

After about 5 minutes of standing at the counter one of thr 6 staff members came to tKe our order. In the middle of ordering one staff member took the drive thru headset off the person taking our order.

Once ordered they said card declined so figured we just moved ther maybe bank had a protection on card so tried another also declined. I knew the cards were good so asked to use the other terminal. The staff member told.me "This is the only one that works"

We left and used our card at McDonald's....

I visit this location at least twice a week, always use the drive thru, the staff is always friendly and prompt with my order. However, if you use your phone to pay, Apple or Google Pay, they don't hold the reader out the window to scan, they always want your device. I've mentioned it was a bad idea and that isn't how its done anyplace else. They just give me a "blank" look and don't respond. Two points, my phone is in a case that is also my wallet and is not easily removed, I must hand over everything. The other point, will Burger King accept any responsibility if this $800 phone is dropped and broken on the exchange? I think some training could head off a big, ...

Had a weird experience here. The doors were locked and someone stood on the other side of the door just looking. Another guy was walking to the door and my husband told him door was locked. He said he'd been waiting 15 minutes and was angry. So, we went to the drive thru. Had to repeat several times 2 items. Got to the window and as we were handed drinks, asked which was which. After being told, another woman comes to the window saying, "WHAT'D YOU SAY?" My husband said, "About what?" She woman replied, "UGH Nevermind!" She sounded heated. Confusing.
