I am a devout Catholic who had just stopped by to visit our houston hometown with our large family after comming back from our military tour in South Korea . I was yelled by the priest for kneeling trying to receive the Holy Eucharist by tongue, my kids too were denied on tongue and had to receive on hands. After mass he attacked me yelling at me that I wasnt better than the people in his parrish, I was just trying to humble myself and also honor Jesus. I was very disapointed this happened September 4, 2022. They even had videos on their facebook page which looks like they took down. My family and I will never attend there again and will look for a more traditional church. I am definetly praying for that priest, no one deserves that kind of treatment especially by priest.

Was Guest Organist Sat/Sun while their Organist was away. Lovely older church, spotless & clean, warm, kind congregation & priests. Was their Festival weekend! Mingled a bit, took tacos to go. Both Spanish & English Masses. I recommend highly.

This church is beautiful and awesome for so many events. They have classes for those who want to be godparents and not sure where to go? There are classrooms for those who are not bilingual or non-speaking Spanish as well.

Horrible customer service. I had called about 2-3 wks ago to obtain information about requirements when it comes to getting my son baptized. Today, I decided to drive ALL the way down (I live in Katy) called since I don’t know where the office is at, a lady answers the phone and I’m asking where is the office located and her response was “are you coming now”?! With an attitude and arrogant tone I said yes; is there a problem or you don’t want for us to come in? She laughed and said no, you see the virgin statue, I will come out shortly. I parked my vehicle proceed to walk towards the “statue “ waited almost 10 min, called back and ask if someone was going up to open the door and she said “I was outside already and didn’t see anyone”, I told her I’m outside with my baby and at this point it’s drizzling so she said “well you are in your truck” I told her I was not and I refuse to speak to her anymore since she was being so rude. She comes out and she was on the other side of the church, started talking and saying this is where we are at, I said that’s an ALTAR not a STATUE, if you don’t know the difference just tell me that. She proceed saying that I’m too sensitive and if I’m having a bad day to not take it out on her, I responded; you were the one that started with an attitude and she just went on back saying about me having a bad day, I said no I am not; maybe you should change your tone of voice and change that attitude and I want to be assisted by someone else and she said no one else was available. Once we go in; she asked me what day am I looking into I said. My date, she responded with “ahí mira” I said I Mira what?! She said, we are scheduling for the months of September and October but since it’s the first of November we can give you the date, I start filling out my paperwork when she starts asking “where do I go to church” I said the name and the reason why I can’t have my son baptized there and she said “well we can’t do it either” I told her I called and no one said that was a requirement she continued to say well we can’t, and I walked out. People; if you work at the churches office, PLEASE BE MINDFUL of people’s time and be more respectful, compassionate, remember you are the first view of the parish and with nasty and ugly people like that lady, you will lose new members that would like to join. I have never felt unwelcome in a church like I did today… please do better CHRIST The King, you deserve a better leader than the one you have at...

Its a small church nothing to fancy but its still nice. If you are trying to baptize your child the donation amount is very doable. My complaint for this church is that they are not at all organized on the day of the baptisms. We got there early as they stated to arrive at 7:15 and it didn't start till 9am. On top of that my whole family sat down on 2 benches that they said it was completely fine, they than switched us to the other side giving us 2 benches which wasn't a big deal. 1 hour later they want to come back to us and tell us we cannot sit on those benches and have to move back and can now only have 1 bench. Our family has to now sit at the very back of the church and couldn't see anything and didn't get any good pictures of my sons baptism. I guess you get what you...
