We attended a meetup here and I had gone there to a service 10 years ago with a date. Both times I have been disappointed with the pastors and congregation
The person running the meetup was a a former IT guy who is now a pastor. Very efficient but that is not a pastor's Forte. No sense of compassion.
Ten years ago, two elderly women were gossiping loudly during service. The congregation with few exceptions is snooty and do not follow their own precepts of Christianity. A woman kept staring at me for the entire meetup and making faces. Made me very uncomfortable and when I called her on it, another woman defended her. Really? If that was a man, we know how it would have been handled
The security lady should be held as an example for this congregation to learn about humanity and humility. Rachel in the meetup was also superb human being..
What kind of seminary are the churches running these days. No wonder the attendees are rare. BTW, the meetup organizer took me off the mailing...
Read moreVisited this church a few times, and each time I have noticed a few things. Some good and some not so good. They have childcare services and my kids enjoyed it. The Sunday school teacher was quite nice, but my kids were not allowed to touch or play with certain items, which I find to be strange 🤔 It appears to be a lot of division within this Holy place 😳...I can't quite put my words together to explain better....the families I've encountered were nice, but there's an awful lot of unfriendly people, including staff, that gives an unwelcoming feeling.
