I have been a loyal customer since the day it's been built and open the first hotel a Four Seasons Hotel was built on Woodway Street in Houston Texas then they build the one in downtown on Lamar Street:-)! But the one on Woodway is now call Omni Hotel which I've been there since I was a little girl :-)! I loved it buffets on both places on the one located in what way had the most delicious lobster salad that's where I got my lobster salad for the first time in my life when I was a little girl I always remember that and they had every holiday New Year's Eve party :-)! The one on Lamar Street Four Seasons Hotel now rated the number one best buffet in Houston that I really really enjoy but I wish they would lower the price down of $67 as per person back to $48 then I believe that they would have more customer but every pennies is worth it:-)! Every time I come in here from the entrance and to the restaurant Quattro it is very clean and fantastic services :-)! You must make reservations every Sunday opening 11 to 2 p.m. closing for the buffet it is Italian style and you make sure you bring your stomach everything is fresh and delicious my most world's favorite buffet in Houston Texas they have cheese goat cheese different type of cheese and prosciutto ham and king crab claws and jumbo shrimp and crepe Suzette and creme brulee all kinds of desserts and fresh fruit and fresh pasta and egg with caviar and omelette cook the way you like fresh there is a chef there to serve all this to you :-)! Not only that they serve lamb shepherd's pie brisket and sushi and California rolls and different types of Italian sausages and breakfast items I guarantee you really get stuff there so bring an empty stomach :-)! And it comes along with the price Unlimited sodas Bellini mimosa or Bloody Mary or champagne :-)! I could never get tired of eating there especially with the Alaskan king crab claws :-)! I recommend to sit by the window because it's so romantic there and so comfortable they do have a private room you could reserve to have a group of families and friends just sit inside:-)! If you don't want to stay in the hotel and just come for the buffet make sure that you get your valet parking ticket validated so you can have free parking just to eat there :-)! They have a gift shop you can shop for women's jewelries and men's clothes:-)! What I found that is unique in this hotel not only they give you fruits to take home but a nice icy cold water which contain in a plain or a cut up thinly slice cantaloupe and in the center is the Lemon mixed with icy cold water to drink with especially if you're waiting to check into a hotel they have nice huge long beautiful leather seats for you to sit in and read interesting magazines while you patiently waiting to be serve or checked in :-)! I do admit the elevator is slow to go up to the restaurant :-(! I just love their choice of my most world's favorite flower white orchids for display and decor :-)! I just love their restroom because they give you very nice folded it up thick napkins to dry your hands and nice expensive hands soap and hands lotions and very roomy restroom and waiting room :-)! They also have by the restaurant a pool table and a piano and on a certain day live music:-)! There is so much to do in downtown that it is easy to walk anywhere especially a beautiful sunny day and cool there is a grocery store which I think they're overpriced and not fresh on some items especially the meat department at Phoenicia grocery store but I do admit they have the most unique candies you can purchase :-)! And the desserts looks so delicious :-)! I am extremely very happy that they offer free parking at the Four Seasons Hotel so you could eat at the restaurant :-)! I hope the hotel will always be in downtown or locate one also at the Galleria area because this is one of the most high class best hotel to stay at and I hope anyone of you that would go there will enjoy it as much as I...
Read moreThis was my first Four Seasons experience. It was short but satisfying. Although there were several service hiccups, my two-night stay was mostly enjoyable.||||ARRIVAL||Due to a redeye flight from SFO, I arrived at the hotel very early. When getting in well before check-in time, I hope for the best (getting a room right away) and prepare for the worst (waiting five or more hours until check-in time). I was prepared to check my bag and get in some spa time if my room was not ready. Thankfully “Double R” at the front desk was able to help me out by reassigning suite that was immediately available.||||ACCOMMODATIONS||The suite was comfortable, spacious, and well maintained. The bathrooms aren’t huge but for a 1980’s era, downtown hotel, they are a pretty good size. The nicely updated rooms have plenty of lighting, electrical and USB outlets. Honor bar was well stocked. TV’s are nice and large. Sound-proofing is adequate. Housekeeping was very good. The bedroom had some non-functioning bedside lighting and electrical outlets that took a few calls to the front desk to get repaired. Since this was not my originally assigned room and I was given the courtesy of a very early check-in, no shots. ||||Very surprised they have no mouthwash in the rooms, only available in the locker room at the spa.||||VALET SERVICES||Sent clothing items out before 9am to be pressed with a requested return time of 4pm. My clothes came back an hour late and after I had ironed another shirt for dinner. On the positive side, I have never seen shirts so nicely finished, they were perfect! They make cotton look like silk!||||TORO TORO||Great breakfast; although, I didn’t love the snarky, familiar tone the server took toward me and my guests. I’m betting he will be gone by my next visit after he says the wrong thing to someone without a sense of humor. ||||Dinner service was top notch. Excellent kale salad. Empanada starter was the highlight of the evening. Salmon was flavorful but a bit undercooked. It was very close to sushi, which was fine for me but probably unsatisfactory for most.||||FITNESS CENTER||One of the best hotel gyms I have been to in a long time. Always a plus when you can get a Smith Machine, EZ-curl barbells and 100 lbs dumbbells, which are rare for a hotel gym. Four Seasons had it all! The addition of a Roman chair would be the icing on the cake! Ellipticals were premium grade as were the Life Fitness machines that keep track of your reps and time in between sets.||||SPA||Had a great 80 minute deep tissue massage. I just wish they turned on the table warmer ahead of time. If you like the table pre-warmed, make that known at time of booking your appointment. Men’s locker room is stocked with all required toiletries and amenities, and was well policed. Steam room was good but I kept sitting on empty water cups so it probably wasn’t being checked as often. They are hard to see in the stream. The lockers are full-length, which was great so you aren’t blocking anyone else’s way when opening yours.||||I didn’t get the name of the locker room attendant, who was a young sister, but she was awesome! Very courteous and made sure I had everything I needed. Every time I saw her she cheerful and welcoming, a great ambassador for Four Seasons!||||POOL AREA||Disappointing! The pool was open but there were no pool attendants or servers out there. The front desk offered to send a server out to take our food and drink orders — twice — but no one ever showed up. I know it is not officially pool season in Texas but there were enough patrons sitting outside on a sunny day to get service… probably about a dozen, including my party.||||A nice few days in Houston overall. I would definitely give Four Seasons Houston...
Read moreEverything about this establishment makes me want to return to Houston and stay forever. This hotel has the best service I have ever experienced in all of Houston! The Four Seasons Hotel Houston has my heart, and it will forever be my new spot when I come to Houston.
The biggest thing that stuck out to me about this property from others, is the level of service and attentiveness the staff provides. Constantly ensuring everything with not only your stay is going well, but also your day! Everyone I encountered was so helpful, and kind, and represented what it is to be a true Four Seasons Employee. I cannot say it enough but I was utterly impressed by the level of service, they provided. I want to give praise to the following members: Mo, the bellman, was the first face that greeted me by opening my car door and taking my question (no questions asked). He was very welcoming and told me necessary information about the property, such as where Toro Toro was or the spa. To be completely honest, everyone at the front desk displayed the utmost professionalism and warm hospitality. Jacob was absolutely outstanding. He inspired me in so many ways and even gave me a full escort to my room—I truly felt special! He was very helpful and attentive throughout my entire stay. Steven's professionalism and attentiveness were superb, and they inspired me to upgrade my level of professionalism. Justin from Bayou & Bottle was great! The drinks, the service, and the conversation were fantastic! He makes a hell of a margarita, definitely recommend that! His service and personality really shined - I went to the bar for a drink before going out and found myself constantly coming back to that bar throughout my whole stay! Ms. Jesse from Toro Toro was so helpful and kind. She was the first face I saw when I came up the stairs, looking so lost. She even went all the way downstairs to the front desk to get my credit card, which I had left in my car. She even checked up on me throughout my meal. Niomi, the bartender at Toro Toro, makes a mean spicy margarita!!!!! She ate down with the drinks, her service was great! She was very friendly and always made sure i was okay throughout my meal! If there was one person i wish i could've given a huge hug to it would be Ms. Sue in ResCom. She was so fabulous and helpful with every request I had. She was so professional, kind, and amazing! Thank you for everything :) the real shoutout goes to the Valet Team - everyone! I have never stayed at a hotel where the valet team is so amazing! No delays, very kind and helpful, speak to you! I was astonished; everyone I encountered was so great! they even asked me if I wanted hot chocolate while I waited for the guys to put my bags in my car - that was the icing on the cake!
The food + the service throughout this property makes you not want to leave the hotel. They have everything you need and want! They even have a coffee shop that I will be trying the next time I stay!!!
Thank you to everyone I encountered, you made what was a one-night getaway for me, an unforgettable experience that truly impressed me and raised the standard I have for hotels. Not only did you give me such a warm and exciting welcome into Houston, but you also gave me inspiration and memories that I will forever cherish. I have a newfound love for this property -...
