This HEB is one of the most innovative stores I've ever been too. It's a two story adventure with its own attached garage to it. I was there last night, December 29, 2020 and bought only $224 in groceries and that did NOT include meal items. It was just for the things that I ran out of. I like when I take my reusable bags because I do not have to deal with excessive plastic bag waste that God knows where it ends up. I felt really bad for the woman that was checking out 2 lanes over from me bc HEB's financial processing system for checks and debit cards had just went down from no fault of their own and this woman had just finished having her order rung up and she had written a check and didn't have a debit card directly tied into or attached to her bank account so she spent the previous 90+ minutes shopping and couldn't get anything to take home. I asked the manager what was happening as this woman began crying and getting hysterical over this system failure so I recently had received some cash back from holiday spending and I asked the manager what her total was and it was for me a steep $344.06 and I told them that I would cover her order for her. Had I not received those refunds like I did I would never have been able to do that for her but since the Lord blessed me I just forwarded the act of kindness towards her and she was able to go home with her groceries.
Now it's May 16, 2022, and do not have transportation of my own anymore. Ive been relying on HEB's Delivery Service which is exemplary. Not one single error made. There is plenty of places for you to make your shopping desires known or for acceptable substitutes should the item you desire be temporarily be out of stock. Items were packaged well and delivered TO MY DOOR. Shoppers must always remember that these people who deliver groceries all day don't make a lot of money and they're the ones putting the miles on their vehicle at the current extraordinary gas prices so remember to tip them at a proper rate of NO LESS THAN 15%.
I do believe in goodness in people and charity begins in the home. I make certain that it does because I grew up not seeing very much of it. It is my belief that the more good you do the more good will be returned to you when you truly need it. I believe that HEB is doing great good for our Meyerland Community including local sources of the finest Texas produce, meats, poultry, fish & dairy and in doing so their business model will continue to prosper for...
Read moreEVERYONE, PLEASE READ THIS !!! If i could give no star, that would be great. This was my favorite HEB until tonight. Sofia refused to exchanged my expired items, yet she did not hesitate to keep my return. Not only she was rude, but she also told me to go to another HEB. Is she the owner??? She needs more customers service training. SAD. After all the voices mails and the conversation with company's customer service, Sabina who told me that she would send me the refund to my email in five minutes, lol. That was last Friday. The store customer service, John not nice at all. This was what he told me, its up to Levy, one of the manager there to decide if he would allow you to exchanged/refund and keep your items that you had actually paid for . They are big on their employees's words against yours, they did not believe how rude Sofia M was to me, I guessed im wrong for being a loyal customer since 2018. Im glad to report that due to those employees attitudes and rudeness. I just found my favorite grocery store. TRADER JOES. I hope that everyone that read this, consider not shopping at HEB again, how can they refused to exchanged their own products that was expired. Their website says up to 90 days for refund. Funny, this was only a few days, did they wanted me to just get sick eating it? Such unprofessional people who just want you to pay for your groceries but you can not bring it back if its expired! Trader Joe's might be a smaller store, but they do offers so many fine items, great prices as well and their customers service is 100% better then HEB. They treated their customers with respect! We work for our money, to pay for our groceries, not to get treated like we begging or stealing HEB"s food. I will never step foot into another HEB as long as I lived in Houston. Plus I will tell everyone I know not to shop for grocery at HEB, because they are happy to take your money but have issue with your refund or exchanged!! Waste my time and hard earned money where im not respected! No thanks. I guessed the cashier and the workers runs the Myerland store, not...
Read moreYesterday was my daughter’s 5th birthday and since she is in day-camp and not school I made-up that she didn’t need cupcakes or anything for her birthday at day-camp. We threw her a pretty big party over the weekend so I thought that covered all the celebrating for this birthday. I was wrong. On Monday morning at drop off with the saddest baby girl eyes she asked where her cupcakes were to celebrate her birthday at camp. I said, “I’m not sure that’s allowed.” She responded “But we celebrated (so-and-so’s) birthday last week.” My heart sank. After drop off I had a few errands to run, but I called the day-camp and sure enough my little girl was correct-I could drop off cupcakes anytime before 1pm. I added HEB to my errand list. I finished all of my planned errands and made it to HEB at 12pm. I parked in the parking garage and turned to check on my almost-2-year-old and he was ASLEEP. Any and all toddler parents know if you wake them you will suffer the consequences. I ran through the possible scenarios in my head - cupcakes on the ground, cupcakes smashed, screaming baby AND messed up cupcakes. I said a prayer and called the bakery. I asked if they even had cupcakes ready to go, they did. I explained my circumstances and asked if I could pay over the phone and have someone bring them out, not possible. HOWEVER, I could buy them via curbside and they could bring them to my car. PERFECT! The bakery transferred me to curbside. I couldn’t believe it when the lady who answered said her name was April, what are the odds?!? April helped me download the HEB app, place my curbside order and promised to bring me the cupcakes as quickly as she could. Y’all she was AMAZING. She came up to my car window in what felt like maybe 10 minutes with some BEAUTIFUL cupcakes and she said “I tried to pick the best colors for her.” I was so happy. My baby stayed asleep the entire time, my daughter had some beautiful birthday cupcakes and EVERYONE at HEB was soooooooo kind to me. Thank you, thank you,...
