So I usually park at the parking lots of Elenor Tinsley Park or Buffalo Bayou Park and walk to the memorial. You can see the Houston skyline from the memorial. There is no restrooms around. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a place of remembrance and appreciation.

A solemn and tranquil place in the middle of a bustling city that honors the men and women in blue. This location offers some wonderful views of downtown Houston as well as a safe, tranquil place to enjoy anytime day or night. The Houston Police Officers Memorial is a piece of public art erected in Houston, Texas, in 1991, to recognize the sacrifices made by city police officers and to honor those who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The monument is a large-scale granite sculpture by artist Jesús Bautista Moroles.

Nice place to see the skyline at night and have a beautiful sit down. Plenty of walking trails and things that are in walking distance like a skate park, bike rental and other things. There is usually a police officer stationed in the small station. There is a small parking lot there that can hold about 5 or 6 cars. More parking is available nearby. Remember it is a memorial for police officers.

A somber but powerful memorial to the men and women of the Houston Police Department who gave their lives during the line of duty. This memorial is sculpted from granite and provides a steadfast reminder of the sacrifices Houston police officers make on a daily basis to serve and protect the City of Houston. It is an interactive memorial in which visitors are allowed to explore the memorial. The location is also one of the best sites to view the downtown Houston skyline. Overall, this is a must visit location especially in the morning just after day break as the light shines beautifully across the memorial and behind the city.

Side note: the location is guarded by an Houston Police officers...

Because of the police departments in Houston Texas NOT BELIEVING ME about my identity hacking and actually shredding my police report because of insufficient evidence my ex ASSAULTED ME AND IS STILL HACKING ME THRU MY SOCIAL MEDIA, MY DRIVERS LICENSE , MY APPLE ID GOT FLAGGED, MY CREDIT CARDS ALL HACKED, ETC.

SO I moved to Flagstaff where ALL the police not only believed me BUT are protecting me from James Alton Thompson Jr because you did not

I was put in the hospital and still have scars and hurt. I'm sure my Daddy would be upset with y'all as well....
