I had the pleasure of doing a spa date here with my eldest cousin, and we both left floating on a cloud. We each had the CBD massage, and it was everything—deeply relaxing, beautifully executed, and soul-soothing. While the locker room is on the smaller side (two showers, a dry sauna), the rest of the space more than makes up for it. The grounding room was the real star—spacious, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed with a stunning terrace where you can sip tea, feel the breeze, and take in the city skyline. And let me tell you, we fell in love with their hibiscus-infused sugar cubes for tea. Little touches like that really set this place apart. The entire staff was warm, kind, and attentive. Our massage therapists were incredible. But what truly blew me away—and why I had to write this review—was what happened afterward. In my rush to check into my hotel for the weekend, I accidentally left my spa sandals in the locker room and walked out wearing the spa’s slippers. When I realized what I’d done, I called the spa in a panic. Megan, the spa director, not only located my expensive sandals—but she personally got in her car and drove them to me at The Post Oak Hotel. She refused a tip. She wouldn’t even take money for gas. She just said she wanted to make sure I was taken care of. That level of customer service? Unmatched. Because of Megan, I’ll be booking the Thompson Hotel on my next trip to Houston. Highly, highly recommend.

If I could give this space 10 stars, I would. I’ve been wanting a massage for years but finally booked one this year as a birthday treat to myself. The customer service was amazing from beginning to end. I asked for a female/woman massage therapist & received a call confirming that I would be able to have one. Valet was complementary and their customer service was exceptional. They let me know which floor the spa was on as I’ve never been to the hotel. Nicole who did my massage was superb! The spa is equipped with a sauna, they had items you can purchase, locker rooms to store your items with a code to open and close. The grounding room was very modern and nicely decorated. There was water (cold and room temperature), teas, snacks, you name it. After I was done with my massage, I went to the pool. The spa provides a pool pass until 5 pm for its guest. There was plenty of seating and lucky for me, it wasn’t a busy day. The area was very clean and absolutely stunning. Overall, I really enjoyed the Thompson Spa and would definitely recommend. It was worth the amount of money I spent. I hope to return soon.

I recently celebrated my girlfriend's birthday at the Thompson Spa. Located on the 6th floor, the spa offers breathtaking views of downtown Houston and Allen Park. It was my first time seeing Houston in such a beautiful light. The spa experience was fantastic, with excellent service and polite staff. I especially enjoyed the scalp treatment. I look forward to returning with my husband for a...
