This isn't your average coffee stop; it's a place where the love for finely crafted beverages meets the charm of Southern hospitality.
During my recent visit, the Espresso Martini caught my eye. It was, in a word, exceptional. The balance of rich espresso with the smooth, invigorating kick of the martini provided a delightful twist to my coffee experience that transcended the usual latte or cappuccino routine.
The baristas at Maven are true artisans. Their attention to detail is evident in every sip, and it's clear they take pride in the quality of their craft. The Espresso Martini was not only visually appealing but mixed to perfection, combining the robust flavor of coffee with the elegance of a well-made cocktail.
For those who prefer their coffee pure and simple, Maven's selection does not disappoint. They offer a variety of expertly executed drinks that would impress even the most discerning coffee enthusiasts.
If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and let Maven's Espresso Martini elevate your coffee experience to new heights. Whether it's the rich aroma of freshly ground beans or the subtle notes of your favorite cocktail, Maven is a master at making every visit truly...
Read moreUPDATE (12/8/24): Rex Hospitality group had us reach out via email and really went above and beyond to give us a better experience. Granted - we went to Maven in Sawyer Heights for brunch (which was wonderful), but it just goes to show how they truly care about giving the best experience to their customers. We had a great time and it definitely will make me come back to try this location out again. Great company, thank you again!! We will be back. ——————————————- (Previous 3 star review) Came here for cocktails at 7:30pm. It was still very brightly lit and still felt like a coffee shop…not really the vibe we were going for so I asked if they ever turn down the lighting. The bartender said he was planning to do it eventually but then struggled for a while to get it right. There are also escalators by some of the tables so there was really only on a few couches in the corner that felt intimate enough to take a seat. The pricing was quite expensive - $20 for a cocktail and then when asking for water he brought over a $7.50 bottle of water and asked whose tab will cover it. Overall it was alright but probably won’t come back for cocktails. Better place for coffee in...
Read moreLocated at the Thompson Houston off Allen Pkwy, Maven is THE new hot spot in Houston. Brunch is bustling with incredible pastries and savor protein dishes that take a winding culinary turn with experimental and delicious tastings. It is common for the Michelin star chef, Nicolas Baizan, to come up with new dishes on the spot for you to indulge your tastebuds. He has taken on a European trained protege (Jackson Wild-Gillis), graduate from Cesar Ritz College, Swtitzerland, Le Bouvere. The staff is exceptional with fast and personalized service. At night this little cafe turns into a private club like feel with great house music (mixed with a little Drake), incredible savory dishes and unique cocktails. I have been twice now in the past two weeks and have tasted everything on the menu as well as a variety of cocktails. It is impossible to pick a favorite as each dish is so unique. The food is simply incredible and you will often see local sports celebrities enjoying their cocktails and good times. It is a must try....
