This review is related to the Penny’s location in Meyerland. The first floor of this store is dim and the lighting is dark. The carpet looked dirty and needed a thorough vacuum.
Dressing rooms 1st floor: first, they very very hard to find within the store. The sign is so small and blends in. Dressing room location is not even on the store directory. I don’t shop often at Penny’s so it took me a good 10 min to find the dressing rooms. I could not even find a salesperson to ask for direction or help. Inside the dressing rooms the tile floor is cracked and very worn. It needs attention. There are no chairs or seats inside the dressing room. So if you need to sit to put on your shoes, you have to sit on the dirty floor. My daughter was trying on clothes in the dressing room and I could not sit anywhere to wait for her. At least have a bench or 2 chairs nearby. The lines to check out on first floor were very long. We ended up going to 2nd floor and getting help there. No lines! The 2nd floor cashier was very nice and very helpful. The 2nd floor overall was much more refreshing and I truly wanted to shop up there. Penny’s needs to look at the first floor and revive it! This store could do wonderful and has been a staple in Meyerland. Please clean the...
Read moreHorrible customer service. I went in looking for a jewelry gift, and saw a necklace & earring set I loved. After I asked the saleswoman for the price I told her I would keep looking at options to finally settle on what I was going to take. Almost none of the jewelry had visible price tags so I asked her to help me find something within a money range. You’d think every salesperson would know the most fundamental principle of sales which is to ask and help meet the need of the customer. I clearly stated I needed help looking for something and she didn’t even answer my questions at all, she just proceeded to try to get me to signup for a JCPenny account. I’ve worked in sales before and I know the company encourages employees to increase the conversion rate, but that’s not all that’s important to the company. Customer satisfaction is vital and I did not experience that. She just sent me directly to look at clearance which felt a little discriminatory, and she didn’t assist at all in my purchase journey. I had to leave the store with no purchase because I received no help and was ignored. Very disappointed in the customer...

No one will answer phones! Placed an on line order and cannot get anyone in fine jewelry or office to answer-called 5 TIMES STRAIGHT! Called 800 # on order and it just keeps repeatibg instructions. Clerk knows I'm here for pick up and its neen 15 min. If they would stop gabbing and get the transaction done I could be resting after 1st day back.AND ONLY ONE EARRING IS IN BOX! NOW HAVE TO WAIT...
