The Christmas Tree Lot at Moon Valley Nurseries - Katy — Attraction in Houston

After my family's favorite lot closed down several years ago, we started going to Houston Garden Center. However, the last couple of years, including this one (12/21) the selection has been very random and odd, to say the least. So this year, after going to 2 different HGC locations, we gave up and went home. My husband found Moon Valley Nursery online, and we decided to give it a go. I'm extremely happy to say it did not disappoint! A super friendly guy, David, answered the phone, and a really nice, upbeat, funny guy, Giovanni, helped us with the tree (carried it to the fresh cutting table, made the cut, took pics of my family, and then secured it to our car. The entire staff was cheerful, and helpful, without behaving like an "overzealous car salesman". They were also willing to negotiate the price (a little) when we realized the first tree was a bit above our price range. We ended up finding a different one that wasn't, which we actually liked better. I highly recommend Moon Valley! When you can't find a good quality Christmas tree anywhere else, go to the Moon Valley Christmas Tree place in Katy. I used them last year and had such a good, easy experience that I bought from them again this year. They have a wide selection of trees and friendly, helpful assistants. Jordan from Brenham helped me this year. After I made my selection, he sawed off the bottom of the tree (needed to help the tree drink water to stay fresh) and even tied it to the roof of my car for me.
