I personally work in a setting that requires professionalism and respect. But what I experienced in this store truly upset me and triggered me to write this. Letâs start from the beginning. This happened a few years ago when my family and I had to renew our passports and submit some paperwork. My dad couldnât find any availability at other USPS locations, so he scheduled our appointment at this one. It was our first time there, and we had no idea what kind of experience we were walking into. When our turn came, my dad started organizing the paperwork at the counter. We got a male employee who began looking through the documents and immediately started speaking in an unfriendly, almost hostile tone: âYouâre missing this, you need that,â and so on. He then told my dad to âstand over there and do it,â but not in a polite wayâhis voice was sharp and disrespectful. This happened three times, each time with the same mean, almost yelling tone. My dad, whose English is limited, stayed respectful and calm despite being treated poorly. I could see him stressing, and I almost started crying, but my sister calmed me down. When we left and got into the car, my siblings and I told our dad we would never come back to this place. My mom was so stressed she started crying too. That day left all of us shaken. Fast forward to now. I had to return a package. It was already packed, labeled, and ready to goâthey just needed to scan it. I didnât know which USPS was closest, so I decided to risk it and went to this same location alone. When I arrived, I accidentally went in through the wrong door. The male employee immediately started yelling, âMaâam, thatâs the wrong door!â I was shocked. I quickly apologized and went to the correct entrance, but my hands were shaking. There was no reason to yellâhe could have easily said it in a normal tone. The store was empty except for me and two employees, so there was no issue with noise or hearing. If he had spoken normally, I would have heard him just fine. I ended up having a small anxiety attack. All I could think was, âI just need to hand this over and leave.â I didnât even look at him because he scared me that much. This male employee is the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and ill-mannered worker I have ever dealt with. I understand people have bad days, but itâs no excuse to take it out on customersâespecially those who are simply trying to get something done. Would I ever go back here to return, send, or process important paperwork? NEVER. If you value your peace of mind and donât want your blood pressure to spike, avoid this location at all costs. Go somewhere else. It...
Read moreTo be honest, I was kinda wondering if I should go to this USPS location after I saw some negatives service reviews on Google. Thinking of just shipping a box of medicines and nail supply to my brotherâs place wonât take that much time and service doesnât have to be nice, I went to this USPS on 07/31/24 around 10am.
What really impressed me at first that the place wasnât crowded comparing to the same time, same purpose of dropping and shipping the box at the USPS location nearby. Service was fast, everyone was enthusiastic helping, getting stuff done for the customers.
I was finding the priority tag to write down my broâs address and stuck it on my prepared box, Mitchell told me the flat rate priority box will save me more shipping money, which surprised me since Iâve been packing my own box for many many times and no one ever told me that the USPS box is more savings.
What even amazed me and my brain more is that Mitchell actually helped me unpack my own prepared box and put it in the new USPS box. I was stunned. (sorry Mitchell, if one point you see me standing and staring without saying anything xD). Iâve never experienced this much nice and enthusiastic environment, especially USPS where everyone was just rushing and tiring looking at you and your package.
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Youâve made my day, Mitchell and the Alief USPS team this Wednesday morning. I am truly appreciated. Definitely will go to this location...
Read moreIâm not someone to write reviews but my goodness this has to be done. The black balled gray haired dude needs some accountability. A few Latino couples with limited English came in and he made sure to offer zero help and rushed them out. When they left he said âhow did you even get a naturalization if you canât speak Englishâ? âThen you catch an attitude with meâ.
I was there with my son and we were on edge. I have a zero tolerance for people with attitudes so i kept telling my wife to communicate with him. He gave us copies of applications that are for some reason limited in quantity. He said donât make a mistake on these copies because we donât have anymore. I did my sons application without problem but i made a mistake on my wifeâs application. We decided to just apply for my son and to do my wifeâs application next time. He still scolded my wife asking, â i told you not to mess upâ. My wife explained that we decided to do hers next time. She got another copy and we still got a chance to do her application. When it came to taking pictures my special needs son wouldnât look directly at the camera. Mr. Attitude had no patience and there was nobody inline. He even said you might need to go to cvs. Eventually we got a pic. But his attitude will cause problems. There are people out there with short tempers. If heâs not up to treating people with respect he needs to find...
