The positive is the two nice ladies coming out to give us the food. However, everything from the food to counter service deserve negative stars. We ordered the rice dish with grilled pork, the noodle with grilled pork and the egg roll, the bun rieu cua noodle soup, a fruit smoothie and the BT signature milk tea. The dry dishes are very oily, the meat is not charred properly, the egg roll is mushy. Beyond the texture, the taste is not right either, all I taste is oil and the meat is not flavorful. For the bun rieu, it’s luke warm when it came out. Now the drinks, they both tasted like milk even though one is a fruit drink and one is a milk tea, both look just the same too except the fruit drink is thicker. For service, the two drinks came after we’re half way done our food and we had to ask twice. There were no one there besides us. Maybe the sandwiches are better, but I doubt we will ever go back again. It doesn’t seem like this place gives an effort in their food or...

The absolute worst banh mi I’ve had for awhile. After dim sum, I was still a bit hungry. So wanted to grab a quick banh mi from here and it was a horrible decision on my end. So we ordered a few of the combination banh mi for take out. It didn’t really take long for the food to be ready but man. It was hella disappointing. The banh mi was hella stale. Meats were albino in color. And bland af inside. Pickled veggies were just watery. The bread was not at all crunchy. It was just too dense. All bread and barely any meats and toppings. Mind you, it was almost $6 each! What a joke. Overpriced for barely anything. Ugh. And don’t get me started in the cafe su da. That was like drinking straight up sugar. Diabetes in a cup! Can barely taste the coffee, wasn’t enjoyable at all. Cute place but food/drinks are no bueno. Would never go back. Did I go on a bad day or what? Because all the other reviews says...

The sandwiches aren’t bad, but my god the service and dining area is a mess. When I walked in, I gave the teenage girls at the front my name for the pickup order. I ordered online 15mins ahead of time, and hoped it wouldn’t take long for my food to come out. But then it turns out they left my food on the counter for 15mins and didnt tell me. After waiting 15mins, I got up and asked for my food and they didnt even apologize.

The dining tables are sticky AND full of bread crumbs on the tables and chairs. Ask for Lysol wipes if you plan to eat here. If you have to wait for your food, consider standing.

The sandwiches, again, aren’t bad and actually better Lee’s Sandwiches (low bar, I know). But the fried rice was so dry and lukewarm. They definitely used day-old rice. Never get fried rice from a...

Loved the Vietnamese coffee and cute kitty cup it came in. Bun bo hue portion size was good. What stood out was the bread and veggies was very fresh. Veggies in banh mi were crisp. Grilled pork banh mi was good. Bun bo hue flavored well and they had all the right veggies to go with the bbh. Steamed it without me requesting. Wish they had numbers for ordering so it's less confusing. It did take a bit to get the good out to is but that may be them making it fresh. The service was super, they came out and checked on us twice despite it being a counter order style cafe. Overall very cute and good food. My one biggest complaint is the place was freezing cold. Since there are lots of windows out was even cooler on that day. We would have ordered more drinks if it wasn't that cold.

Food was up to standards. The flavors were there. The broth from Bun Bo and Bun Rieu was well-balanced enough, but with the Bun Bo, the vermicelli lacks firmness, so there's definitely room for improvement. Com Tam was fine. Pork chop was well-seasoned, though a bit too oily. Shredded pork skin, however, had too much five spice powder mixed in, overpowering the whole dish. The best part about Com Tam was hands-down the steamed egg meatloaf - great taste, great texture. Service was good. Staff and owner alike was friendly and helpful. Menu was super diverse so definitely coming back to try out more options.
