II was greatly disappointed by Ms Barbara and Brandi Salisbury (GM) who seem to lack any capacity of providing guest service.
Rooms not as they were booked: We booked two rooms thru Comfort Reservation system and I specifically booked one fully handicap room for my son in wheel chair. When we arrived at the hotel the room assigned to us none of them we're ADA as we had booked. I had personally spent 15 minutes talking to the reservation person to make sure one room had ADA roll in shower.
Handicap guest need a hand held shower The desk clerk was able to find a room that was ADA but not with Roll in shower. When we went to the room we found that they had fixed shower head instead of hand held one. How the person who is on wheel chair to take the shower and direct the water to different part of body is beyond me. This meant that he did not take shower.
AC worked like an old engine with lot of noise We had booked two rooms and both AC were very noisy Room 307 & 115 - difficult to get a good night rest when there is loud humming going on. My wife complained that AC was louder than my snoring.
4 Desk clerk Barbara can repeat check in and check out time like a robot but can not accommodate a guest with painful medical condition We were about to look the other way on all these imperfections until ... My son had a sever attack of migraine, so I requested Barbara if she could allow him to sleep for an hour extra (till noon) so he can recover from it. She proceeded to inform me that check out time is 11 and they were expecting a big group (by the way check in time is 3 PM)
Having owned more than a dozen motels my self I could understand her desire to get all the rooms emptied and cleaned asap. At the same time I do know that cleaning a room takes 25 minutes and even from 12 noon to 3 PM there was 3 hour time to clean the room.
Few minutes later I pointed out to her that only 3-4 maids were cleaning the rooms they were not going to clean even single room by noon - all she had to do was to tell the maids to clean that room last --- giving my son time to get some relief from migraine while the medicine kicks off. All he needed was to rest in dark and quiet place for an hour.
She told me that it was not possible and we had to vacate room by 11 no matter what. She even told me that "i was being ugly to her."
She had emotional breakdown so she went and got the GM who repeated the same thing again --- 11 AM check out time - large group coming etc., at no point in time they would have any consideration for client with Migraine.
Owner does not care or GM never gave my cell no to the owner MY son slept in the hotel lobby (which was lighted and noisy for next hour or so and then we left) Upon departure I gave my cell phone number to the desk clerk and told them to give it to the owner (Mike Patel) I would like to express my displeasure at the whole episode. I have yet to hear from the Owner (Mike Patel?) not sure if he also does not care or the GM and Barbara never forwarded my message to him.
Frankly Hospitality Industry means HOSPITALITY. These two women never addressed any option to clean that room later or Migraine1
Fire the robots and hire some guest service staff that understands the needs of customers All they could repeat is 11 AM Check out & Large group expected. Which frankly was insulting since I already told them that I have owned more than a dozen motels. And I do know that if they wanted to they could have simply allowed him to sleep in his room (he could have slept on the couch if they needed to remove the sheets for laundry.
WE ALSO NOTICED THAT BARBARA WAS RUDE TO OTHER GUESTS TOO WHILE MY SON SLEPT IN THE LOBBY.
Improper reservation - Noisy HVAC - tFixed shower head for Wheel chair client - desk clarks & GM who can care less about the customer's medical needs & owner who is either out of the loop or does not care either.
I WOULD ADVISE EVERY ONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THERE ARE PLENTY OF...
Read moreI got back from my event tonight and of course wanted to take a shower. Two of the small wash cloths were stained and one was just a bit dingy and not entirely white. It was no biggie, it happens. I went to the front desk and just asked for a wash cloth without even initially complaining that mine were unclean. I just asked for ONE wash cloth. Surely that shouldn’t have been an issue at a place of business whose sole purpose is to rent out their space for people to stay the night, shower, etc…
The individual who was working the front desk was glued to his cell phone during our entire interaction and told me THERE ARE NO CLEAN TOWELS IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL….. I find this hard to believe. So that means out of all the cars I see out in the parking lot tonight of guests who are staying here… if any one of those families or individuals needs a fresh towel y’all don’t have one 🧐 This is literally a hotel so I’m just perplexed about that. The man at the front desk was surprisingly rude and unprofessional which I obviously wasn’t expecting as I was just asking for a something so basic. I’ve stayed at many other hotels where I needed a new towel, etc. and they normally just walk to the back and grab me one.
He repeatedly and rudely told me there were no clean (small wash cloth) towels in the entire hotel. So either he’s lying and refusing customer service or there are actually no clean wash cloth towels to give out. Frankly either scenario is crazy.
I’m literally not a picky person when it comes to hotels. I just expect good customer service at the very bare minimum and as someone who works in retail management, I would never in a million years be so unaccommodating all while having an annoyed and dry attitude. He was not apologetic, attentive or POLITE… much less accommodating, which are very bare minimum qualities working in customer service. He actually behaved like I was disturbing him. So hey, if anyone here has a cares about the type of service being provided, I would coach this individual on how to speak with a customer, how to go above and beyond to accommodate and how to at the very least be polite and apologetic if you are unable to accommodate due to unexpected circumstances. Had that been the exchange, I would not be writing a negative review because I would understand.
He refused to give me his name which is fine but a hotel manager’s name is generally not private information and should be provided to customers if requested.
This person working on the night of April 23, 2025 was a middle aged man with black hair, glasses and a blue collared shirt...
Read moreMy experience was horrible!! It is an independently owned franchise with a staff who has not been trained well at all. I was in town for business for two days near the Galleria area. I booked a room at the last minute because my usual hotel was overbooked and the other options were double the price. This hotel is located several blocks away on a street that has at least 5-10 strip clubs nearby. Do not be fooled by the name THIS IS NOT the Galleria. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!
I checked in late afternoon, changed my clothes, and headed to my Houston office for a meeting. I went out to dinner with my colleagues arrived back to at the hotel that evening. My key card did not work, so I went down to the front desk to get it reactivated. When I went BACK to my room ALL MY BELONGINGS HAD BEEN REMOVED. I called down to the front desk and they told me the computer did not have me registered as a guest!! I was then told I needed to come BACK down and retrieve my own belongings that they had taken out!!! HORRIBLE!!
To make matters worse, the staff person in charge showed no remorse or empathy at all. She blamed it all another staff member. I discovered that my clothes had been thrown in my luggage and a bottle of expensive cologne was MISSING!! I was too tired to complain anymore, so I went to bed planning on talking to someone in charge the next day.
The next morning I had to leave early for a morning meeting and the GM had not arrived. I knew I would be gone most of the day, so left my phone number so the GM or owner could call me. I NEVER got a call. I tried calling myself during the the day, but I was transferred to his VM.
The next morning as I was checking out and I asked the receptionist AGAIN if she could help me make contact with anyone in charge, but she told me there was no one available and she could not do anything. She couldn't explain WHY my belongings were removed the night before, or WHY my property had been STOLEN from my room.
If you are NOT used to staying at a TRUCK STOP quality hotel near STRIP CLUBS with BAD ATTITUDE UNTRAINED STAFF and belongings could be at risk of THEFT!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! You have...
