Assistance League-Huntington — Attraction in Huntington Beach

Spend your time and money else where! I understand with Covid-19 going on we're all having a difficult time adjusting. They're currently open Wed & Sat 11am-1pm. We came on a Saturday and the line was outrageously long due to the 12 person capacity. Once you get in, you only have 30 minutes to shop. THIRTY MINUTES!!?

My mom and I have paid and we missed the jewelery section. We were about to buy several pairs of earrings but they kicked us out and claimed that you're only allowed to make one transaction and then leave. If this is the case, then why open the shop at all? The experience was unwelcoming, rushed and the volunteers all don't really care.

You can try going on a Wed to see if your experience is any better but there are plenty of other non profit organizations out there that are more welcoming and organized than...

Every Wednesday which is today it's Wacky Wednesday where they have 50% off in the store they have a great boutikeria a great antiques and collectibles area Linens household lots of clothes lots of shoes it's just a great day for thrifting on Wednesdays particularly at this one in Huntington Beach on Beach and Slater I wrote a review on the one in newport-mesa which I've been shopping at for many many years but also stated that the one in Huntington Beach is by far my favorite the staff there they are just constantly in motion and always so happy to get you whatever you want and if you love thrifting you should go to the Assistance League in Huntington Beach they're open I believe Tuesday through Saturday but check because each one has different...

I LOVE the Assistance League of Huntington Beach and they have the best Thrift Shop in town!!! It is run by amazing women who are all volunteering to make a difference in our community! The prices are a lot less than any of the other Thrift Shops around and they have such wonderful quality merchandise! I love that when I donate my used clothing or housewares to them or shop there, I am giving back to my very own community! They have so many amazing philanthropic programs like Operation School Bell that provides school clothes for those in need, scholarships for veterans, nurses, police cadets, or junior life guards, teacher grants, and even delivering teddy bears to local hospitals!
