This was my first time visiting this particular market location after 7 years of relocation. The goal was to introduce my senior dad to his local market. Ellis farm was hands down the best booth (all the other vendors were friendly as well). My dad enjoyed the farmer selling wheat grass and also the booth with fresh goat, lamb and beef. This is a very small market so the biggest con is there is little to no variety of vendors. Limited variety of vegetables. There are no more than 20 booths with the majority selling salad greens, garlic stems, garden plants, common herbs. The host/women in the red tent lack customer focus and communication skills. We were just standing there while they discussed the snack they were eating...Like Hello! Address the customers then get back to your personal conversation. They offer classes if you show up early and this week featured awesome live music of a classical guitarist. Meals these days are Pleasant House savory pies and Neopolitan pizza. Unfortunately if you arrive too late, Pleasant House is out of pies. Show up early and you will have the best offerings from farmers as well.
