Hyde Park Shopping Center — Attraction in Hyde Park Township

Best place to be when the weather cooperates. I was there for the garden fair and will be back for the book fair. There is a post office tucked away in a corner. There may be a line, but they care here, so it normally doesn't take long. A nail salon (they ruined my nails) They are cheap, but you get what you pay for. If you need groceries, there is Trader Joe's. If it is something small, Walgreens is almost always open. If you don't want to cook, there are a few restaurants to choose from in the area, Ascione Bistro, if you want to relax with friends or have a date night. The toy store has a range of toys from the latest trendy thing to basic wooden blocks. They also have games of strategy and doll houses. Even toys for the kid in you. I visited the Walgreens in the area. It had everything stocked but not enough cashiers. The line was so long it was ridiculous. Not to mention I don't understand why the Young male that come through there are so angry and curse a lot. It was a young boy there that was just cursing and he was by the gift card section and he knocked all the gift cards on the floor for whatever reason. Me and another lady picked all the gift cards up and he came back and got one more and was still cursing. Not to mention he stood right in front of me while I was trying to make a selection. In day I went to Office Depot to print and fax. The young lady behind the counter looked like she was having a bad hair and dress day. Asking her for help was not on her agenda. They young however was very pleasant and helpful. Two main problems. Only 1 fax machine works. And second I had my great grandson age 3 with me. When I asked for the bathroom usage for him I was told it was out of order. Seems impossible . What do lawn employees use. My great grandson of course had an accident . I was totally upset ,he was upset and was crying because he thought he had done something wrong. Ruined his new Nike outfit. The jogging suit can be replaced. But the indignity he endured is not...
