Cleveland Clinic - Independence Family Health Center — Attraction in Independence

Took my daughter for a colonoscopy and there is no human being to be found. Sign says let a nurse know if you’re a female under 55. I finally heard women talking in the back and said excuse me to get their attention. Said it nicely. The nurse came out appalled that I tried to do what the sign said. She was rude, told me that’s not her department and that she’s go get someone from the colonoscopy department. She was angry. She went through an employee only soor. Had I not asked the employee for help I wouldn’t have had a clue how to find a human being. They took her back, no family can go back with even an 18 year old. The woman said she’d let me know when she came out of surgery. It’s been and hour and a half and I’ve heard nothing. The guy who got here right before me said they didn’t know where to go/ who to talk to either. He said they have given him no updates.

I’ve gone to the Cleveland Clinic all of my adult life and always loved the place. Everyone has always been more than helpful and kind and present. WORST experience I’ve ever experienced. I’ll never come back here. It’s a ghost town and when you finally get an employee they’re all put out by talking to you. Very disappointed. This cleveland clinic center has been the worst so far. I have seen multiple doctors and never got this kind of service. I went yesterday to see Dr. Al-Haadad. I used my MyChart app to check and I used the automated kiosk in the lobby to check in also. As I entered the internal medicine office the lady at the front desk asked if I had checked in, I stated that I did. She said “are you early? I see an appointment for you in three hours.” What?! She finally said she sees me and I was checked in. I sat down in a completely EMPTY waiting room and waited 35 minutes. A nurse came out and called someone’s name who was not there. Then a gentleman came in and was very upset bc he had been given the runaround and he was tired of waisting over an hour of his time. THE DOCTOR/NURSE NEVER CAME OUT AND CALLED ME. I WASTED TWO HOURS OF MY TIME FOR NOTHING! PLUS I DROVE ABOUT 35 minutes TO GET THERE! I WOULD NOT GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION!! The lady when I first entered asked me to check in with her, as I did. I went to the 4th floor, which is where my appointment took place. As I entered the lady at the front desk asked if I had checked in, I stated that I did. I sat down and waited. I noticed they called everyone but me in the lobby. I approached the desk and asked how much longer? She stated that the lady downstairs never checked me in. She then went into let the Doctor/Nurse know that I was there. She said it would be a longer wait. WHY WOULD I HAVE TO WAIT, IF IT WAS THEIR FAULT! THE DOCTOR/NURSE NEVER CAME OUT AND CALLED ME. I WAITED TWO HOURS OF MY TIME FOR NOTHING!
