I ordered takeout at 7:09pm. Was given a 7:29 pickup time. When I arrived at the restaurant, at 7:27, I was told that the appetizer I ordered was no longer on the menu and asked what appetizer would I like to replace it with. This is something that should have been done by phone as soon as I placed my order, not wait till I arrive at the restaurant expecting my order! Instead they decided to wait to make my entire order until I arrived at the restaurant! I ordered ahead so I would not have to wait, hence the order ahead option! I proceeded to wait another 30 minutes until I had to enter the restaurant and ask where my order was! Upon entering I found no one by the car side pickup entrance. When I finally made contact with an employee and expressed my concerns, I was told “sorry we’re busy” and still hadn’t received my food! I went back to my vehicle to wait and my food finally appeared! No apologies for the unnecessary wait! I asked to speak to a manager to let him know of my displeasure. I was greeted by a young man who could not have cared less about the situation, which has now caused me a extra 1/2 hour of my time! Again I was told “sorry we’re busy” as an excuse and was treated as if I were wrong for ordering an item, from your website, that you no longer carry! Instead of apologizing and trying to make me feel that he actually cared, he made excuses as to why he and his staff were ill prepared for the light amount of people in the restaurant and unable to handle a very simple customer order issue! I paid almost $70/tip for dinner and an appetizer for 1 person! If you insist on charging a premium for your food I insist that the customer service be of the same level! This entire experience was avoidable with proper management! I would expect this from a hole in the wall greasy spoon, but Outback Steakhouse is a national franchise and should be held to a higher standard, again given the premium price! I would at least like my tip back if not more! And when I arrived home I had to cook the steak I was given as it was raw not even close to medium! 0 stars was...
Read moreI Ordered 4 meals yesterday totaling to about $130 At 507pm. We choose the delivery option and was told my food would arrive around 647pm. At about 700pm I called to check the status and was told that my food had to have left the store and on its way because it was not there. At about 750pm still no food. I called again and was told that I should be expecting a courtesy call stating that they were running 2 hours behind and I would be asked if I still wanted the food. I never receive a courtesy call and my food arrive about 857pm. When looking threw my bag I noticed that the most important meal of my order was missing My moms! The order was the Mothers Day special prime rib and crab cakes. I immediately called and was told that I can come get it. I drove 25 minutes to go get my missing order. When I I got there the manager handed me a bag with the wrong meal. He gave me the filet and lobster I told him this is not what i ordered and he told me that they ran out of prime rib. Why wasn’t I called to be informed that you no longer have what I ordered. Instead you just make me something else expecting that I would want that? How was I even able to order something that you no longer have? So I asked him could he at least give me the crab cakes. He said yes and I waited about 10 minutes in my car for him to come back out to tell me that they were out of crab cakes. At this point I am so upset. He offered me desert. I told him to give me grilled shrimp and be brought out 8 pieces of cold shrimp. I asked him about any compensation on my order and he instructed me to call the the store back tomorrow. I get home to finally eat. And noticed that two of the steaks from the other meals were completely raw. Our steaks were suppose to me medium well, and they still had blood dripping from them. We could not consume anything. Our potato's were salty. Everything was horrible and it ruined my moms...
Read moreAs there were not many tables in the restaurant, when we got there they told us there was a 20 minute wait. We were confused but they wanted to let us know that the computers were crashing. But we were there to celebrate my mom’s 75th. birthday because she loves (loved) the Outback. But if you looked around the restaurant there was never an employee in the dining room. After waiting 30 minutes for refills I finally got up to find someone and went around the corner of the kitchen only to find 3 employees hanging out one being a manager. I asked for refills and the manager wanted to mention about the computer’s crashing and wanted to make excuses that the server was ringing in an order. I mentioned that it might be hard to read peoples hand writing and the guy then became combative and said we’d get refills but still never brought them. I’m pretty sure the server doesn’t need to ring in the refills? Why couldn’t the manger just bring them over instead of venting his frustrations on me? We asked for ketchup, a spoon, more bloom sauce and never received it. Never were there dirty plates or empty glasses removed from our table we had to take the dirty stuff off and put it on a clean table just to get it out of the way. All the times that the server wanted to fly in the dining room from the back like he was busy to take another tables order did he ever bring our refills. No one ever asked how the food was. What happened two minutes two bites check back? Full hands in full hands out? What about multitasking? What a horrible experience and how does a manager that acts like get put in that roll? We watched a different table get up and go to another one to get salt and pepper. The dining room was a ghost town when came to finding an employee, including a manager. I’ll never go back there. They fell real short of celebrating my...
