I go there all the time because they're the only game in town on Beachside. That has the things that I want their prices are over-the-top extremely expensive. The help is not as friendly as what it can be and when you talk to the managers about it they just sort of shrug you off and say okay but you never get a call back or anything to know your comment made any difference. I do try to go to Winn-Dixie occasionally it's just that they don't have too much organic but they do have great deals. I get some better deals at Publix also occasionally. Spend a lot of time in the produce department and they have a young man that's worked in there forever and he is super unfriendly and very unapproachable I think his name is John. I never want to ask him a question because I feel very uncomfortable around him. Some of the older cashiers are not very friendly they act like they're overworked and tired out. If you’re looking for a grocery store that feels like a VIP club hosted inside a cloud of lavender-scented dreams—Publix is it.
This place has everything: – freshly baked bread made by a retired ballet instructor – a seafood counter run by a man who only communicates in dolphin clicks – a woman in the deli who whispers your sandwich order like it’s a secret between friends – and don’t even get me started on the BOGOs—it’s like a buy-one-get-one orgy of savings.
Their aisles? Long, shiny, and smooth—like the torso of a well-moisturized dolphin. And the produce section? It’s just…gorgeous. I saw a tomato that looked like Zendaya.
And oh! You must try the pub subs. It’s a sandwich, yes, but it’s also a journey—crafted by someone who used to make edible art at Burning Man. One bite and suddenly you’re crying in your car, texting your mom, and questioning all your life choices in the best way.
