One Star is on overstatement. Let me start out by saying My Fiancé and her family is a current customer of Farm bureau and has been for many years, however, they are with a different agent, and i can see why. I went to this office to sit down with an agent in order to get a quote for home and car insurance. No Agent was available they stated they have three agents at that location.... A few hours later I received a call from I believe his name was Tie Woodcraft. He did not communicate well interns of the process and what it entails to get a quote. He almost immediately asked for my Social Security Number. Once he had my name, SS number, home address and VIN for the car I drive he told me he will call me back next Monday or Tuesday as he is out of the office. I told him I thought a week seemed a little long just for a quote and he informed me that he will find another agent for me b/c he does not want to be our agent and he has plenty of business. At that time tie hung up on me....... I called back wanting to know why it would take a week as he did not explain the process at first. We than started a shouting match and stated that he doesn't care and went on to say how he is the best, so I hung up on him. At that point it was just wasting my time. I WILL NEVER BECOME A FARM BUREAU CUSTOMER. and will tell everyone of my Fiancé's family about my experience with Farm Bureau I will stick to my current insurance company of Statefarm! Read moreI’m literally mortified at the way my claim is being handled by this company . I have called and emailed my claim representative over 30 times with no answer . Every time he never calls me back nor does he give me an update on my claim through email . I have tried to be patient truly but when I have to go through a supervisor to get ahold of you that’s ridiculous. The only thing good about this company is they are affordable but honestly I rather pay more and go back to my old insurance company because their claim representatives actually keep in touch . Because that was my move-in date for my apartment. The day comes I give him a call he picks up the phone like he was annoyed. Said he was in the middle of a call with another client.
